  1. I also had the ticking BAD ......... I was diagnosed to a issue with the intake and the intake runner valves, It was really bad on cold starts, it would get somewhat better as it warmed up but you would hear the ticking noise as you accelerated and decelerated. The issue was 100% gone, but now seems to be coming back again, with a slight tick only cause I listen for it now, otherwise I wouldnt notice it. I only have 3000km on it since the intake was done. I also have a shake in the steering wheel, it was diagnosed to be seperated tires (SXT model with 17" kuhmo CRAP tires). Kuhmo replaced the tires free of charge, the delaership tried charging me to change them.. I refused. The tire shake/steering wheel vibration had gone away also but is coming back again. I also feel some rack play when turning the steering wheel. I am taking it to get the tires balanced again this sat and will look at that with the shop foreman when they are doing the tires. I think some sticky weights have come off the rims. I am complaining about it again, but getting no where, I will be calling chrysler to complain if DIFFERENT TIRES are not installed FREE of CHARGE soon. I love the car, but HATE the shake and the enjne tick. I
  2. picked it up today, seems like the new intake has fixed the issue thus far. I'm not confident but i don't notice it right now.
  3. There are Tech tips available to the techs regarding the issue. They are to attempt to play with the runner valve motors on the intake by loosening them and rotating them slighty to see if the noise gets better or worse. The tech when doing this to mine, says he heard a difference thus ordered the intake. Rockers are not advised to be replaced, however there is a bulletin also out to the techs on wrist pins.
  4. I have an engine noise issue, not so evident once warmed up at idle, starting the motor cold it sounds like a marble metallic rattling or a engine tick (lifter noise), Have been told it is the intake, not so confident. Guess only see when it is back next week. You hear it inside the car when you accelerate or let off the throttle and the motor is coming back down.
  5. Does anyone know what the TSB # or the reflash actually is. I am having the same issues and the dealer cannont find the update. They dont have an issue doing it, but need the TSB # to find what the update was. It would be listed on the paperwork you recieved after getting your upgrade done.
  6. Let me know what ever happens. Please.
  7. Keep me posted. Hopefully the new dealership will be better.
  8. I'd be skeptical also. Please keep my posted. I actually think my steering wheel shudder as a combination of not accurate balanced front axle shafts as mine have no weights on them, and crappy tires. i have the 17" rims and tires and do not like them. Rear rotors will not cause a steering wheel to shake. What tire rim and tire package do you have? Was the shudder in the steering wheel braking while slightly turning the wheel?
  9. Please let me know what they find and if it fixes it. I havent had any work done on mine and I have had what I call a shudder since new. Seems like it will be when coasting, or even accelerating, and sometimes is more evident when slightly turning around a curve in the road. I also feel it in the sterring wheel and at times it will be noticeable to actually see it. Why did you have the power steering resovoir replace?
  10. Any one having problems with their Jorunery with virbating/shaking after sitting. recently picked up a new joruney, now have almost 1000km on it and after sitting we get steering wheel shaking/vibrations at around 80km/h and up that will eventually go away but it is very annoying for a vehicle this new. I'm positive its not a balance issue as it does eventually go away, it more often is felt in the steering wheel ans sometimes in the seat. so I', assuming its is the tires as its speed related and feels like an out of balance tire. Wondering if this is normal with other units like mine. We have the 225-65-17 Kuhmo tires on it.
  11. Thanks for the feedback. What type of tire and tire size is on your journey?
  12. That is what I am hoping for given it only has 500km on it. Havent had a NEW vehicle do this before. At least for now it does go away, and is only evident if you get it in and up to highway speeds right away, rather than in town or something. I am thinkg the quality of the tires are probably pretty poor also.
  13. Had mine for a week. Seems that after sitting (parked) for a bit, and then driving speeding up to around 90km/h or 55mph that I get a sterring wheel shudder that then will go away. It has not seen the snow, just sitting in the garage causes this. Anyone else with this issue? I should mention it has the 17" wheels.
