  1. I understand the physics of the trailer and towing. I guess I phrased my question incorrectly. My question is actually how much tongue weight is acceptable before a load leveller is required. Meaning how much weight will the rear suspension of my SXT FWD Journey handle without affecting the braking and steering too much without a load leveller? Thanks, Chris
  2. What kind of tongue weight can you put on the rear of these things with out the load leveller? I have an enclosed trailer to haul my bikes in and want to know if I NEED a load leveller or not. It has a tongue weight of no more than 300-350 lbs. depending on how I load my gear and bikes in the trailer. The trailer is less than 3000lbs fully loaded as well. Do you think I will have any problems towing it with my SXT FWD? Do I need a load leveller? Thanks, Chris
  3. I don't have very many miles on mine yet, but I filled it up when there was about 3/4 of a tank left. For the first 150 miles, mostly city I got about 19 mpg. Then for the next 150, all highway miles (with cruise on 65) I got 26 mpg. I would like to see a slight improvement around the city. Chris
  4. My SXT also has no hooks on the third row. I had never seen those before and I have looked a 10-15 at the dealership in the past couple weeks. Chris

    Plug button

So, is the outlet usually off and you have to hit that button to turn it on? Does it turn off everytime you turn the car off, or does it stay on until you hit the button again? There are so many options on this thing that I don't know how to use yet. :D Thanks, Chris
  6. I am the proud new owner of a silver 2009 Journey SXT. I really like the CUV and the room that it provides. I purchased the Journey for my wife to drive as our family vehicle. It is a pretty base SXT with only the Flexible Seating Group and the Convience Group 1. It fits our needs perfectly and we were able to get it at an amazing price! I look forward to learning from you guys as well as hopefully spreading some of the knowledge that I have pick up in my many years of working on/modifying vehicles. Thanks, Chris
