  1. What are you members using to clean these rims.....I got Brown spots around every hole from a winter in Canada.......Will Spray Nine harm them? There are lots of rim spray cleaners out there that will remove the stains without even rubbing them(touchless) but are they harming the Chrome Clad finish if I use them.....Thanks...Caper.......

  3. Now all Dodge needs is a Chrome hood deflector to match all the Factory Chrome, door handles,Rims,Mirrors, Step Bars...Etc... they do it for there Rams........
  4. How come there up so high ....right next to the White painted area? Do you have a part number and a Canadian listed price for the pair? thanks..Looks Good ...Caper.....
  5. Does the rear LH door get used alot more than the RH one? Being a Electrician(Industrial) and helping may people out with Auto issues..... the first thing I would check is the wiring harness that moves between the door and car frame, usually the wires are inside the rubber flex housing. Also just looking at the wires sometimes you can see the broken one,..........Other times the copper is broke inside the insulation and the wire looks fine...........check this out first before you start replacing actuators ,switches, etc...... I willing to bet the child seat is on the rear left hand door, due to the fact it's closest to the driver when taking them in/out. Most people will not keep walking around the back passanger side to put and strap a child in. I willing to bet this door gets used the most except for the drivers door of course..........Caper......
  6. Any body put a yellow/amber bulb into the fog light housing/factory socket? I bought Hella bulbs (Yellow) for my 2005 Avalanche and 2001 Pontiac GTP.........What is the Fog light socket base compared to ....Ex 880....894...etc......
  7. No the engine block heater cord is up top under the hood next to the square fuse plastic cover..........It may have been for a assembly line hook/holder for when painted or hung up(pre-mounting area)...I really don't know...........Someone will tell us .........LOl................Caper...........
  8. Lots of parts built in the same facility have different Q.C standards for different customers...........Don't get me wrong.................I don't know if the Fiat and the Journey .......U.S and Canada for that matter are all built with the same Q.C standards?.............For example look at Brake rotors ..........Many are built in the same plant ...But will have quite different standards for the price market there target for............Just a thought...........I really don't know..........Caper...........
  9. As for the differance in lighting patterns ...I don't know............But as for your question on the differance between DRL from Euro and Canadian for that matter...................In Canada it is the Law .....They must come on when the tranny is in Drive................As for the Euro and U.S makes/ models ........Some may need to be active at the dealer......While others can be turned on and off inside .....Drivers choice...............You may see some headlight switches inside that show a OFF position .......But in Canada it will not be used.........Ex my 2005 Avalanche had a headlight "OFF" position .........But DRL were always on while in Drive............Caper...............
  10. I just clicked on the ad here on the main topics page for Performance 4 trucks ad....(on the right side)....15 % off Husky liners.... But there is no Dodge listed under the make section ..........I checked 2011 and 2012 still no Dodge............Caper..............
  11. DRL are a must on every make/model sold in Canada......................it's the law...........Caper....
  12. I will take some pics for you .Caper...........
  13. Just remember with AWD use the same size tire on all "4" wheels.very important..... I think some of the AWD stories we read on here (even from dealers, new and used) came from selling a used journey and needed only two tires for safety inspection to pass and went this way due to the odd Kumho size.............then trouble with the AWD sensors for proper wheel spin............Caper.........
  14. Q.C issues and control may be alot different on the Fiat. .Caper
  15. That's no good for any liquid spills.......I need a rear mat that has a lip around the outside to catch any liquid............Caper.............
  16. In my manual ...AWD can engage anytime to help with the handling,cornering...etc....Not just due to bad road conditions.....Caper......
  17. If they cut things that close people would not buy again IMO........GM ,Ford and others get well over 300,00- 500,00 KM from the factory tranny..............as well as many others .....Proper fuilds and filter maintenance is the key to tranny life...............Heat is the main killer of trannys.................I have 300,000 Km on my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix I use for work and not tranny issues at all ....YET.......LOL...............Caper............
  18. Thanks photos would be great........Does the back side of the mat have all the sharp little points that keep it from moving ...or is it just the tight proper fit that keeps the mat from moving.....Caper...........
  19. ...3.6 L 2011 and 2012 models Canada.................

  21. How many of you bought the rear cargo floor mat that you can carry items that may leak, ex. wine/beer bottles(returns), earth/soil....plants...you know what I mean...... my question is how many different types are there....Husky, Factory Dodge.(are they the same)......which one fits better........Any info will help my choice would be great.....Thanks.....Caper.......
  22. Are you talking about the AWD or the automatic Transmission failing? / .........Caper......
  23. I got a factory hitch put on my 2012 R/T in Feb. they did need to cut the bumper a bit, but it's not really a issue for me, as the factory hitch is still hidden alot more than the aftermarket ones. You did talk about carring bikes........remember the normal bike rack for the 2" reciever is not going to work on the factory journey hitch. My dealer also just ty-rapped the 4-pin trailer plug through the opening on the hitch for the 7-pin plug, I will need to order the insert for the proper fit and finish myself.....Caper....
  24. My dealer is from a very small town ,Sunridge,Ontario..........Still didn't help me.....Caper...........
  25. The factory hitch is hidden quite a bit compared to a aftermarket one.........Thats way I went factory..................................With the R/T and duel exhaust and also the Wife's everyday ride....I thought I would do her a favor and keep the look on the back of the Journey.....I seen a aftermarket one on a 2011 Journey SXT from a guy I work with before I make my choice....Caper.....
