Don't look for the 8.4 inch screen with Nav. in the R/T in Canada unless you want to wait...did get the $600.00 Chrome Clad whells and duel Chrome exhaust tips and two cross bars on the roof rack (don't think the 2011 can with cross bars) also 19" wheels .........but did get $2000.00 off the window sticker price though........... Note the smaller screen is still with the touch controls also.......Caper.....

I can't see that the U.S models can fully have the DRL and software removed and not even installed for the dealers to have access. When the Journey are made in Mexico there can't be that much savings to affect changes between the U.S and Canada models. Just like the MPH and KPH there are there for both to use. My guess is it;s there but most of the dealers in the U.S never need to apply the training or even be taught to make the changes.........What do you guys think....Caper....

My 2012 R/T (Canada) does "NOT" have the two red strips on the front grill logo. It may have been just for the ads Dodge placed out there for more appeal....Caper..... Also as for the Chrome Clad Wheels.....Mine already had them installed also, Was no choice for me the extra $600 (Canadian)was on the window sticker...

My 2012 R/T has the two dimmers.......(canadian if that matters)........Still the same not very bright at all...................Caper

Hey "BUGS" can you fill me in a little on how the Journey tows? Do you have/use the Autostick for towing? I getting my hitch installed on Dec 29 at the dealer on my new 2012 R/T You don't have the 3.6 penstar....What is your H.P rating on the 2009? Thanks.........Caper............. I will be towing a 8 1/2 foot wide snowmobile trailer with two full size Polaris sportsman ATV'S (app. 740 lbs each plus the trailer weight)

Question ...If the rear reciever is central to the rear end ....how does it know the right rear from the left rear? just a question....Thanks........ I thought when the wheels/tires were rotated.............the dealer needed to re-program the location........How long has this been around where they will relocated the proper location themselves.............Caper......

I just bought a 2012 R/T and did get a $2000 off the sticker price, but did not know why until now I guess. I knew the 8.4 had a late 2012 showing................ it's on the Dodge.ca web-site ...............Caper.................

In Canada it's the Law to have DRL......So here I don't think anyone will be able to have the option to have on of off......Caper.....

The dealer should put a D/C amp probe on the battery cable with nothing on and the key out. this will tell them if there is any draw from the battery when there should not be..except for the small electronics stuff like the clock and memory fuctions.....................The dealer multimeter should have a scope setting which they can leave on overnight and provide a graph of the AMP reading over a period of time..........I seen a draw like this happen on a Buick And it turned out to be a mouse nest near the rear speakers with chewed the trunk light wires ......................then in turn left the trunk light on even while it was closed,.thus draining thebattery every couple of days...........Caper.......

For the Journey R/T is there any differance in window sticker L/100 KM between the 2011 and 2012? I only got 1000KM on it so far and both fill ups were 500 KM each with 68 L used and 65 L used................That's not very good so far...App 14L/100KM I keep hearing it will get better over time.............Please keep telling me that.....LOL..... I traded in a Chev Avalanche thats gets around the same as the journey right now.............Caper............that was 295 H.P V-8 and the Journey is 283 H.P V-6

The open rear hatch just was taken the info incorrectly I do believe. I think he means open by itself without using a key.They made the mistake saying full opened. As for the ECO mode in my 2012 manual (the one I had to call and get) not the quick guide, States Fuel saver ............"The ECO indicator will illuminate in the Cumpass/Outside temp./Odemeter line of the EVIC display. This will appear when you are driving in a fuel sfficient manner and can be used to modify driving habits in order to increase fuel economy." ....Caper......... It does not say what Average fuel Eco. you need to make to get this indicator to turn on though?...Anybody know?

How many of you have the Chrome fuel door? Is it only a dealer item? I see it on the Mopar parts web-site. Did you install it yourself?...Easy...Hard? Thanks....Caper......

If all the air-bags were deployed the cost to replace them is also taken into account........On thing that does scare me about the battery location is living in Canada and road salt and liquid de-icing being used, The wiring and connections are so close to the wheels and road..........My old 4X4 93 Sidekick had the main Fuses above the left front wheel which over time caused my trouble with the famous"GREEN" copper connections..........Caper.........

Even 5800 KM is a long time to leave oil in there for the engine break-in period. I guy I work with has a 2011 Journey SXT and did his first oil change at 13000Km and they told him it smelled "Burnt". I told him I can't believe you left the oil in there for 13,000KM. What can change to make the oil last an extra 8,000 Km from the normal 5,000 KM ? I don't care what kind of driving conditions your in that a long time, So if someone uses Full Synthetic oil can they go 20,000 or maybe even 25,000 between changes...........LOL........Caper.....

Well I will keep that in mind........I have the trailer tow-prep on my 2012 R/T and the dealer added another 475.00 on the invoice for the factory Mopar hitch(that I didn't get installed yet) which is on order. Will they perform the up-date flash as required? I assume the price includes hitch and install,due to the fact the salesman said to me if the hitch was not in and installed on Sat do I still want to pick up the Journey, I told him I am in no hurry for the hitch as it's for my ATV's and would need it until Spring anyway. He told me to phone back within a week ......................If I want too long it might get installed on another one they sell. That's nice to tell me........LOL.....Caper...

No I did not order one. Had no 2012 R/T at the dealer closest to me, So went to MacLang in Sunridge and they had 2011 and 2012 in stock. Took the colour we wanted with the most options they had there.......Black with the Chrome 19" looked the best, Me and my wife both agreed.....Yeh, that's right we both like the color, what is the chance of that....LOL.... .......Caper.......
