In the 2012 Journey factory owners manual on page 393 it states"Caution: All wheels must have the same size and type tires. Unequal tire sizes must not be used. Unequal tire size may cause failure of the power transfer unit" ...................................Caper.............

I took my 2012 journey now and had to take the smaller screen. Picked it up last Sat. and had it a week now. Went with the Black pearlcoat 19" rims upgrade 600 chrome cladding,Power sunroof option tow- prep still waiting on my Mopar hitch to come in, U-connect voice and bluetooth. and Auto-stick............So far so good with about 750 Km on it..The first tank of gas was at 495 KM and took 68 L Avg Rating was at 14L/100Km .............Not very good so far \I hope it's gets better when fully broke in.........................Have fun waiting..............LOL....J/K................Caper............

so was it a fuse or wiring issue you needed to deal with..........Caper...

What is with the 13,000 KM oil change or every 6-months. I don't feel like leaving the oil in for that long, even the first oil change I want done before the 5000 KM. I might be mis-informed but is is way too long ...............I guess the 5/year 100,000 KM powertrain coverage is all Dodge is setting there sights to reach , after that it's all your issues Baby..... ..............Caper............... For me 5000 KM changes is my old fashion way....LOL..... What are your thoughts............. What are the 2010/2011 oil change specs.....??

...........I might try to get one done(chrome) at the Auto Body shop here I will let you know how it turns out, It a sham to have the $600.00 Dealer Chrome Clad option(Canadian$$) on the wheels and can't match the front deflector.......RMK Also I am putting the RECON side Amber LED lights for the parks/Turning and WHITE entry (hooked with the inside Dome) I took these off the Alalanche So I will use them...Caper......

Well if you told me You had a brand new ride and the window sticker includes "Tow -Prep package"(275.00) I would not even need to guess that a hitch is in there somewhere? Maybe at Ford and GM but not Dodge. Dealer tacked on a extra $475.00 on my invoice (Canadian) for the hitch which was not in when I picked up the Journey R/T on Sat. Even better now in 2012 rated for 2500 lbs. down from 2011 at 3500 lbs. V-6 with 283 H.P .......Is Dodge worried about something we don't know about? My Pontiac GTP 3.8 With super -charger is only at 240 H.P. What are they doing to these V-6 engine to pump them H.P numbers out? Will it cut a few years off the life at the end?...Who knows Journey's been here only since 2009 Makes you wounder about the new Ford Eco-boost also..V-6 with towing rated a 11,300 lbs (close I think) Come on what gives.......Caper..........

I can't seem to find any listings on-line for a Chrome Hood Protector for a 2012 Journey R/T. Also looking at getting right away a set of 4 Moulded mud flaps and a chrome set of running boards(the wife wants them...) Any help on where to look would be great...i am in Ontario Canada But I can still order on-line.....Thanks.....Caper.......

Well just joined the forum and hope to be here for awhile....Put exactly 500 km on it since sat. and needed to fill up ...Took 68 L , not very impressed with the fuel milage yet, Hope it will get better... This was mostly short trips .....Like it so far ...the wife , well need to work on her, traded in a 2005 Chev Avlanche so it quite a differance for her as she drives it all week and I get it on the week-ends to use and fill full of gas .right (you guys know what I mean). got some questions I need to post......They will fit better in other Forum topics, rather than here though.....Bye for now......Caper, Muskoka,Ontario...
