  1. I took a gamble after a lot of misinformation regarding these bulbs and sizes and different ones, but the ones I put in were H16 bulbs. They initially didn't want to fit, after a little fiddling, I took an exacto knife and shaved down a bit of the plastic guides on the plastic housing on the bulb itself... went right in no problem.
  2. I have a 2010 Journey SXT (3.7L V6) with 48,000 (30,000 miles).... I average 14.2-14.7L per 100km in the city, and on the highway, best I have ever seen is 8.5L per 100km. I usually average 9.5-10.5L on the highway.
  3. Hi everyone, I just installed some LED fog light bulbs to replace my incandescent ones in my 2010 Journey SXT. I got them on ebay for $2.50 each, and just thought I would share with everyone the results, and where to get them. Headlights: Low beams - 9006 Super white 55w incandescents (Ebay, $5.50 for pair) High beams: (not pictured) 9005 super white 65w incandescents (Ebay, $8.00 for pair) Fog lights: 18 SMD LED super whites. I don't want to be spamming links, but just go to ebay and search. I was pretty impressed for the couple of bucks I spent.
  4. 31 years old (male) - married, 1 child (5 years old). Got the Journey to replace my Hyundai Tiburon (2 door sports car). Family's growing up, so should I. I work downtown Vancouver as a Manager in the telecommunications industry.
  5. I have a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT with all options including the built in power inverter. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a square wave or sine wave? Thanks!
  6. Has anyone taken their 2009/2010 Journey off road? (NOT 4x4ing... but on light gravel roads, well maintained logging roads etc. for camping...) I was curious because even though it's not built for heavy off road use, it does have a fair bit of ground clearance and I was thinking of getting some slightly more agressive tires, some Yokohama Geolander All Terrain tires or similar, for my 2010 Journey. What are your thoughts? I am asking because I am an avid camper/hiker. Thanks
  7. I have a 2010 Journey with the 3.5L V6 FWD , averaging 13.9-14.2 litres per 100KM or appoximately 16 MPG in the city, lots of hills, and very short drives without giving the car a chance to fully warm up. (yeah, I know, not great for the SUV, but I drive it to the bus stop to go to work, to avoid the $30.00 a day parking) I haven't had a good chance to test the longer distance highway mileage, but from what I have seen, is about 10L per 100 KM.
  8. Hi all, new to the forum here. I picked up a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT recently and have started looking at the add ons available for it. I just picket up a Lund rooftop cargo carrier (soft, canvas bag type) as well as an AVS Bugflector II for the hood. (AVS part #25040) http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/auto-ventshade-bugflector-ii-25040/ How is it to install it? Are there already holes drilled to secure it, or is this one a tape-only installation? It says no drill instllation, but how secure is it without any screws holding it in place? Anyone have one already installed? Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks! Paul
