  1. The Husky liners actually provide more coverage than the Weathertechs for the front row. I ended up buying a full set of each and picked the ones I liked best for each row. Now I have Husky liners in the front row, and Weathertech mats in the 2nd row, 3rd row, and cargo area. I guess I'll need to get around to selling the extra Weathertech front row mats and Husky 2nd row liners.
  2. Where'd you hear that? I'm not aware of a new firmware available for Uconnect.
  3. The bumper protector arrived today. You were exactly right about the change in the bevel. It's close, but it doesn't quite fit. I guess I'll have to wait for Sherwood to get the new version. It's really too bad because it's an awesome product with perfect coverage. If anyone with a 09 or 10 wants to buy it, let me know.
  4. Oh well. I guess I'll have a bumper protector for sale for anyone who has an 09 or 10 DJ.
  5. I ordered this one. It says that it's only for model years up to 2010, but I'm banking on the fact that the rear bumper hasn't changed since then. We shall see. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251054216576?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
  6. Your dealership has to activate them for you. Once activated, you will be able to turn them on or off through Uconnect.
  7. Your dealership should be able to activate them for you. It shouldn't cost more than a half hour of labor.
  8. It doesn't look like that one has a lip that covers the rear edge of the bumper. Are there generic ones that do?
  9. Are you seeing song/artist info when playing songs directly from your iPhone over bluetooth? I'm not, although the iPhone does support metadata over bluetooth. I'm guessing this functionality was simply left out of Uconnect. I'm hoping it can be added in a future software update.
  10. Are you sure? I've never seen artist/title info through bluetooth with my iPhone.
  11. I haven't heard that there is an update on the way, I'm just hoping. There are some significant problems with the Uconnect system, and I will be very disappointed if they don't get addressed. I've called Chrysler to report the problems, and I've told my dealer, but nobody can confirm that they are even working on a fix for anything. We ended up buying a 2013 Ford Explorer for my wife. Now that I've really had some time to play with MyFord Touch, I can honestly say that it is head and shoulders better than the Uconnect system. Every shortcoming of Uconnect is completely remedied with MyFord Touch. I'm very impressed that Ford was able to update their system so significantly for 2013 and that the new software is a free upgrade for previous model years. If there isn't a similar update for Uconnect, I will be very disappointed.
  12. Yeah, we can hope. I'm pretty impressed with the new update to My Ford Touch. Last year's version really wasn't in the same league as Uconnect. This year's update seems to have left Uconnect in the dust. I'm sure hoping Chrysler gives us a Uconnect update soon. The constant re-indexing of my iPod drives me nuts on a daily basis. I also hope they add support for metadata in songs that stream over bluetooth. Seeing the song data while streaming over bluetooth in the Ford sure made me wish Uconnect supported it.
  13. Okay, thanks. It's good to know that it does work. Not sure why it won't work with iOS 6 on the iPhone. I hope they update it so that it works by the time iOS 6 is officially released.
  14. Are they replacing them under warranty? I had to have mine replaced due to scoring with only about 1000 miles on the car. Call Chrysler and make sure your concerns about the brakes are noted. At least then they'll have a record of your complaint if you have more brake problems down the road. I'd like to see them start putting the bigger brakes on vehicles that have premature brake problems, but I doubt they're going to do that.
  15. For what it's worth, I test drove a Ford Explorer yesterday with My Ford Touch and it read text messages and emails from my iPhone perfectly. It's very disappointing that this doesn't work with Uconnect. The system supports it, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Since iOS 6 is still a beta, I'm sure Chrysler isn't officially supporting it yet, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.
  16. The beta of Apple's iOS 6 supports the Bluetooth Message Access Profile (MAP) that's required for the Uconnect system to be able to display and read text messages from a phone. But even with iOS 6 on my iPhone 4S, the Uconnect system says that messaging is not supported with the paired device. Has anyone had any luck with this? Has anyone had success with a different kind of phone that has support for Bluetooth MAP? There have been a lot of reports from Ford owners saying that the texting functions of MyFord Touch now work with an iPhone 4S running iOS 6, so I was hoping the same would be true for Uconnect.
  17. In many states in the USA, it's the law that you have to have your headlights on when you turn your wipers on.
  18. Are you sure it has the sensor and not just a hole for the sensor?
  19. I know this is an old thread, but I'm getting tired of my rear bumper getting scratched by cargo. It looks like this bumper protector is still available on ebay, but it says it fits model years up to 2010 and the part for 2011 and 2012 models hasn't been produced yet. Does anyone know if this thing really won't fit a 2011 or 2012 model? I know they changed the lower facia, but the top of the bumper looks exactly the same to me. Has anyone tried one on a 2011 or 2012 or know of a reason why it wouldn't work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/REAR-BUMPER-PROTECTOR-STEP-BLACK-Dodge-JOURNEY-08-09-10-/251054216576?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a73ff5580&vxp=mtr
  20. The dealer agreed to replace the sunroof glass. They had to order it, so I'll need to take it back to have it installed.
  21. Will do. I made an appointment to bring it in next week. I'm also going to have them look at the squeaky drivers seat and randomly rebooting Nav while they have it.
  22. I noticed the other day that my sunroof has several long scratches on the outside of the glass. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what would be causing these scratches. This morning, I hit the open button and then stood on the door sill so that I could watch the sunroof open from the outside. Sure enough, as the sunroof was opening, I could hear a horrible scatching sound. It appears that there is almost zero clearance between the glass and the underside of the roof pocket that the glass slides into when opening. If the glass is not completely clean, it will scratch as it is opened. My car isn't super dirtly, but there is a thin layer of polin all over it. That's apparently enough to scratch the glass when the sunroof opens. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the expectation that you have to wash your car every time you want to open the sunroof?
