    I am bit disappointed as I would think most all "luxury trim" vehicles like the Crossroad would have NAV built in, bit I digress...

    If I don't have NAV, can it be added or do I need to replace my head unit?  I was able to get into the Dealer Mode and find the part # which is 68342287AC (see pic attached)

     

    Lastly, for those who dont have NAV where did you mount your cell so you can use MAPS for NAV?

Connecting via BlueTooth is ok and it works okay via USB on a Pioneer system in another vehicle, which proves that there is nothing wrong with the IPOD. It's bugging me why the older IPOD works okay on my Uconnect USB but the Newer one plays so distorted. I've tried turning the volume way down in the file tags to check if it's a hot signal issue but it still distorts at the lower volume. It's looking like a weird incompatibility between the newer IPOD and the Uconnect. Could it be a USB version issue? I've even reinstalled the firmware on the IPOD but that didn't resolve the issue. The files are the same as on the 3rd gen IPOD Touch. I've been hunting the internet for info on this but have found little and none of it provides a solution.

    Has anyone else run into a situation like this, and if so, have you found any solutions for the problem?

In 3-4 days we are right back to square one with a dead battery. Dealer say they got it when they disconnected the hands free but after charging me 250.00 the problem was right back after a few days. 

    The car is currently at my mechanic (I have used him for the last 15 years) and has been there for 2 days , they are trying to find that draw.

    I am wondering if anyone else has this very aggravating issue.

    Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new purchase! Its seems like the members have you off on the right track. The 2 parties listed above are 2 local dealers that understood the need to sale these plans online, but like one of the members stated the prices may vary. Mopar.com(https://www.mopar.com/en-us/care/mopar-vehicle-protection.html) has a great comparison tool on the MaxCare vs. the Added care plans but please know that its truly important to do your research to determine which plan and purchasing location is best for you!

    So to recap the plans can be purchased at your local dealer, online retailers or at 1-866-818-9929.

    I have tried several thread searches but have not found any previous info on this so here goes.  I have had my 2014 Journey since it was new and have always had my XM active.  For some mysterious reason approximately one month ago, the radio acted like it lost signal and so I had Sirius refresh signal with no results - the display shows channel 184 and nothing else, no info, no sound, and no reaction to any on-screen touch input.  I have gone to settings and there is no longer an XM radio ID number shown in settings - it is just not there anymore.  I read on-line that the radio could be "reset" by disconnecting the ground wire (tried at least 5x), pressing both temp controls at same time to get to engineering display, pressing volume and tune knobs at same time to reset, and finally pressing up and down temp and A/C controls at same to bring up the engineering display.  I tried each one of these several times and the last one with the two temp and A/C controls at same time DID bring up a settings display that also had no entry for Sirius radio id.

     

    Any ideas on where I should go from here?  If the XM part of the radio has failed what part should I shop for and replace?  The display panel in the dash or is it something else for the XM?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

    my 2014 acts up as well doing the same thing and then will start working again, aggravating as well i know your pain,since i also have a medical scooter that we carry for my wife that blocks the view i am not as worried about finding the problem as most would be.there are some videos on  you tube most on the dodge charger showing how to replace the camera as they seam to have a lot of the same problems as well. also you could check the rubber boot in the upper let corner to see if you have any broke wires there( i checked mine,none) when mine acts up i can slightly open the hatch back and shut it and then it usually starts working again,,,i do have the lifetime max warranty but not wanting to spend the 100 ded i have and also since they have to see it what it is going on, havent been in a hurry to get it fixed kind of waiting for it to poop out completely or need to take the journey in for something else to piggy back it on. i do believe it is the camera or connections in the hatchback as well to be the problem.... good luck and report back on what ever you do or find out what is causing your problem.... as well WELCOME to the group lots of good info here....

As for replacing all 4 tires yes I did and even had the alignment done 2 weeks ago. When the lights came on I drove straight home and parked it so I didn’t check the cruise control. Calling the dealership where I purchased the vehicle tomorrow (hoping they are open). The car is still under warranty so hopefully they will fix it.
