  1. Try sending a PM to DodgeCares and see what he can do for you.
  2. I went down to the US and bought my winter tires and rims. I got 17" American Racing mags and Hankook winter tires for $1,050. I could not get any closer to $1,500 here and that was with black steel wheels. Personally, I am not a fan of rims that fit multiple bolt sizes. Any good reputable tire shop should be able to spec the right rim for your needs.
  3. I have not had mine come on as yet. Changed oil three times now. First time with 2,000 km's and second time with about 5,000 km's. Third time at about 9,500. I have about 13,400 km on it. Tag on the windshield says next change due at 14,500 km. At this rate I will probably never see the change oil warning. As long as the dealer remembers to reset the reminder.
  4. We have had our 2013 DJ Crew since February and have about 14,000 km (9,000 miles) with no issues so far.
  5. It seems that way. I see lots of DJ's everywhere in Canada but when visiting the US I can't remember seeing any. I was visiting friends in Idaho on my motorcycle and they wanted to know what a Journey looked like. Never did see one to show them. Judging from the post on here, it looks like lots more Canadians on here than Americans. Not sure why that would be.
  6. I went with Mopar splash guards as well. Tried after market but look like crap so spent the extra and they are made to fit properly on the DJ.
  7. Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will get many enjoyable miles in your new Journey. Look around the forum. There is a wealth of information here.

    Newbie

Looks great. Enjoy your new DJ.
  9. Today will be scrapping the ice and snow off of it. Looks like winter is here. Switched over to the winter tires and rims last week.
  10. I went the full size and mini van when the kids were small. For a family with young kids and all their friends a van is the way yo go. Still have our 97 Mercury villager. It is my winter beater now. With the kids grown we did not want another van and the DJ is working out very well. We are on our second DJ. Traded the '09 SXT for a '13 Crew last February and have enjoyed both of them. And no issues with brakes as some have. Take the plunge. You will not regret it.
  11. Congratulations and welcome to the forum! You will really enjoy your DJ. I think it is a great alternative to the "Mini Van".
  12. Nice DJ. Love the color. But then I may be partial. I have the same thing. Storm Grey Crew. Enjoy your new Journey .
  13. Enjoy your new Limited, and welcome to the group.
  14. Not able to get what we wanted locally so did a dealer transfer from Kelowna, BC to Lethbridge, Alberta last February. 12,000 km on it so far and nothing but routine service. Oh yeah, had to get dealer to activate compass.
  15. I contacted Diablo Sport about if/when a tuner would be available for the Journey 3.6L and they replied there was no imediate plan to produce a tuner.
  16. No problem with mine. 12,000 km so far. Get dealer to look at it. Should not be an issue for you.
  17. I went to 17" rims and winter tires with my old 2009 Journey SXT. Traded it for a 2013 Crew last winter and no issues using the same winter rims. There was no selection at all for tires in 19" when I had the 2009 DJ so went with 17" rims. I am very pleased that I went that route. Takes me less that an hour to change over the rims and am all set. I went south to the US and got my tires and rims. Could not come close to the same cost north of the border. 4 American Racing alloy rims and 4 Hankook winter tires for $1050.00. Could not get anywhere close for just black steel rims and tires up here. Did not bother with TPMS for the winter rims. :shades:
  18. Welcome Bill and I am sure that you will love your R/T. Won't be long and you will be able to try out that AWD on the white stuff. I will probably change over to my winter rims and tires at the end of the month.

    Hit and Run

Looks great. Now you can get back to enjoying your DJ. .............and be careful out there.
  20. Or you can do like we did and traded the 2009 for a 2013 Crew. Just a little more expensive. LOL All kidding aside; GOOD JOB and very good details about the conversion. I am sure there will be lots of conversions in the next while.

Man, that really sucks. Hope you get it all fixed soon. It could have been a lot worse.
  22. Maybe DodgeCares or DodgeCaCares can comment on Chrysler's position on K&N filters and warranty. Personally, I have used K&N for decades in my motorcycles with no issues and would like to replace the filter in my Journey with a K&N but don't want to jeopardize my warranty.
