I am like Olaf L. I must be fortunate and have a good Journey (knock on wood). I bought a 09 used a couple of years ago with about 50,000 km (30,000 miles). Dealer had just done the front brakes when it was traded in. Rear brakes were not touched at that time. I now have 100,000 km (60,000 miles) and just did the rear brakes today. They were totaly wore out and one pad a rivet was just touching the rotor. Checked front brakes and they look almost new. Lots of pad left and rotors are in good shape. May need to turn front rotors as I have a slight vibration in the steering wheel when braking (sometimes).
