  1. First thing. You need to find a shop or someone with a scan tool. That has the capabilities to read modules and can activate and test individual components. Simple code readers are basically a digital reference. Dean
  2. With scan tools. They start at basic code readers. Go up to bi-directional controls. Where you can actuate components with it. Relearn procedures etc. You need a shop with good scan tool capabilities. Ask them up front. That can check and test abs wheel sensors. ABS module testing as well. They can solve this the quickest.
  3. Here you go - U1110 Lost vehicle speed message. U1120 lost wheel distance message U1412 implausible vehicle speed signal U11bc lost brake switch message U0416 implausible data received from ESP. Electronic stability program. These are all signals that come from the ABS (anti-lock brake module) to the PCM. They are missing. You need to check out the wiring to the abs module. Wheel sensors too. After that, I would replace the ABS module. On the journey the ABS and the hydraulic control unit are combined. Called the integrated control unit. ICU. Someone with a capable scan tool. Has to initialize and bleed the ABS. After you replace it.
  4. 2016 Journey 3.6 L 62te transmission Easy a\c drain clean. Beside the gas pedal is a plastic piece that pops out. One plastic trim rivet, goes up into the instrument panel. There she is pull off the hose and clean out.
  5. part 2 service CD. P0562. The photos are out of order. Read possible causes. Then read from the bottom up. Simplified: check your battery first. All battery connections and Cables.
  6. Here are the last to photos. Drive real easy and keep your engine Rpms below 2000. Read through the information carefully.
  7. P06DD-DUAL STAGE OIL PUMP STUCK LOW I am reading from the Mopar 2016 Dodge Journey service CD. The oil pump runs in 2 modes controlled by the PCM. Low pressure is Idle speed to around 3000 rpm. High pressure mode comes on between 3000 to 4000 engine rpms. Code P066DD dual stage oil pump stuck low (mode). I am posting photos of the Dodge diagnostic trouble-shooting chart. For this code. Note photos on the next post. Based on your information and what the Service CD states. You need a new engine oil pump.
  8. Hi John, Thanks for posting this. Dean
  9. Found this - https://fjcinc.com/can-i-use-r-134a-in-an-r-1234yf-system/#:~:text=Still%2C the answer is an,a vehicle's emissions control device.
  10. 2016 DJ 3.6 engine 62te automatic transmission Starting with a\c freon. On the underside of the hood, find this label it has the freon type your system uses. I have a 2016. It uses the. R1234yf freon. If you didn't use this type of freon. I would start there. I don't know the differences. But there is some.
  11. In the interior fuse panel is a 25 amp circuit breaker. It feeds all the power windows. There is another 25 amp circuit breaker near it. For power seats. You could switch them and see what happens. It's up underneath the glove box. Shot in the dark, are you aware of the window lockout switch on the drivers switch panel? Try engaging it both ways to see if it affects anything.
  12. This is the working link. Go here read very carefully. Top to bottom. https://verticalvisions.com/en/mini-blade-fuse-slots/22-tipm-bypass-cable-simple.html
  13. Great! I have been researching the 09-10 DJ tipm problems. One thing is a fuel pump relay that sticks on. Draining the battery. There is specific harness you can get. That by passes the relay. Eliminating the relay entirely. Go to this page, read it very carefully top to bottom. Everything is explained in depth. https://verticalvisions.com/en/mini-blade-fuse-slots/22-tipm-bypass-cable-simple.html Dean
  14. The two things you can personally check that cause battery drain are: Bluetooth - Dodge calls it HFM hands free module. Pull the fuse. Eliminated. Glove box light staying on. I disconnected the harness to it. Taped off securely. Dean
  15. I agree Larry. The Journey needs better ground cables from the chassis to engine block. First check and clean your stock battery ground system. Tighten all connections. These cable up grades will work. Battery, I went 2 gauge cable from battery chassis stud to engine block. Passenger chassis ground stud to engine block. 6 gauge cable. I would start here doing this. Dean
  16. Hi, Need to know Model year - Engine -
  17. Very good point. Keep it simple. I would remove the battery from the other FOB. Take it away from the vehicle. Pull the negative battery terminal. Wait 10 minutes. To clear the PCM. Reconnect it. Then try the FOB. This should do the trick.
  18. The 09-10 DJ have problems with the under hood power box (tipm). If your tipm is the original. I would look into this. Search YouTube on 2009-10 DJ tipm trouble. Email him good guy. https://verticalvisions.com/en/26-tipm-repairs Dean
