  1. Thanks for the reply. I did find a leak on the hose that connects the two fuel rails. I'm gonna change the purge valve anyway, the car has 149000 on it so I'm calling it a maintenance part! BTW, This 2012 Journey is a pain to work on!! I had an exhaust leak on bank 1 exhaust manifold/Cat. What a stupid design!!! I ended up having to take it to a shop, couldn't do this in my garage. No more front/AWD vehicles for me.
  2. My 2012 Doge Journey SXT 3.6 smells like gas after it is turned off. I have no leaks under the car. The odor seems to be coming from the engine bay. Do you think I have a bad purge valve?? Thanks in Advance Carl
  3. As I was plugging everything back into the intake manifold, this plug snapped out. I cannot find where it plugs back into. HELP!!!!
  4. Hello, All! Just completed replacing the oil pressure sensor on my 2012 DJ 3.6. I also replaced the spark plugs while I was in there. I was very careful and did not drop anything into the intake. that said, when I started it up, it began to rap back near #1. It sounds like a bent valve. Again, it was difficult to locate the rapping while the engine was running, but using my probe it sounds like it's back by #1. The engine is not missing, shaking or missing if I accelerate to around 3000RPM. I am stumped. I did nothing to that area except replace a spark plug!! With the probe, the Loud ticking almost seems to be stronger at the cam phaser. Any thoughts??
