VermontJourney got a reaction from incognito2428 in Towing capacity of a 2017 Dodge Journey
I agree - you shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't overload the trailer...

VermontJourney got a reaction from jkeaton in Raised white letter tires for 2012 Journey Crew?
Treadwear.com You can add white letters to any tire you want. I added redlines to the tires on my van and they look great!

I don't really think pinstriping looks horrible... for something like the DJ though I don't think flames would look very good. Maybe just straight lines down the side? In the end it's your car, so whatever makes you happy with it, but the flames might be a bit out of character for the DJ.

I have pinstripped in the past. Mainly straight line and not decorative like that. I actually thought about doing it to mine. It is a 2017 Blood Orange Crossroad.

Maybe a silver pinstripe to match the gunmetal finish on the wheels? If you're looking for something to add a bit more "character" to the sides have you looked at body side moldings? They add some more visual interest AND protect your doors from dents

VermontJourney got a reaction from Madsiss Productions in Towing capacity of a 2017 Dodge Journey
It's interesting because most of the class III hitches available for the Journey are rated at 4000#, but yes the owner's manual does state
2500# for the 3.6...

For the record, DJ doesn't use the C3/C4 - we still get the RE2/RB5 - so there's no 'activating the Nav' without replacing the TGM (radio).

Side note...warranty link will not work without the 's' at the end - http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com

i never had either but transmission costing 4-5k and so many computers and electronics if you plan on keeping it a long time i would get one as i did. just plug your info in at the chryslerfactoryplan.com just to see what it would cost you,as i said it depends on how long you plan to keep it... also i would recommend only a MOPAR warranty not aftermarket 3rd party ones

Side Note... OhareFred, you sound just as excited as the new owner of the car. I love all the information you are putting out...I feel that way when I see new member's pics. Reminds me when I was walking up to mine the day I was picking it up.

Thank you both for the advice. I'll have to get my taxes paid first, but hopefully its something I can add this summer...

I got the Crossroad - not a ton of options, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything. Probably the only thing I'd like to have that I don't is a backup camera, but for $20K out the door I'm quite happy!
