Curious why you wouldn't just wait until the oil message came on? As long as it comes on within an acceptable amount. You can always check it for clarity.

Sounds like a great price, should work fine...worst case scenario, you can resell them and make a little profit.

Great write-up with a lot of information that I think does NOT come to anyone's surprise. A lot of the annoyances you described are things I notice as well on my 2015. The interior creaks on mine did go away after a nice detail job (or I was too distracted by the shine). The creaks over the bumps are a little frustrating, but apparently pretty common. I think these cars are a great deal for the money. I've had mine for about a year and half, and I still feel pretty lucky to have found it.

Looking good, I had the front tint done and added tint to the rears to make them black. Now all match real nice. 

Dont have  diesel in the states so couldnt help you there, but if you downloaded the owners manual it should be in there.

Looks great. Did you get the wiring harness or is yours pre-installed? I bought the ebay package that included everything, and love it. Make sure you retorque in about a month, or after your first use.

i got these.  there is NO difference in them vs the ones from the dealership.  even had the dodge part number sticker on the underside. 

well i am still in shorts but ya winter will get here by christmas..... lol.... late jan or early feb is the worst might get a day or two of snow. gotta be prepared ya know   P.S. like your saying i am already of them 49 percent Trump was talking about. you know drawing my Social Security that i paid in the last 35 yrs....plus my Pension ah the good life it  just took too long to get here......

Here are instructions for a 2010. Not knowing what year yours is, makes it a little harder but I assume it shouldn't be too much different.

Never a good idea to mix and match (mostly electrical), but it is possible if you can't get a hold of the right part. In your case, you can...just need to deal with a return.
