  1. Thanks for the feedback. I found some Michelin X ice Winter tires on steel rims and next summer will replace the Kumhos with new summer tires. Hank. Hank
  2. I am satisfied with the Performance of my 2.4l. Before going wild with mods make sure your sparkplug and filters are fresh, injectors are clean, brakes are not dragging and the tires are pumped up. You might be surprised how well it can run stock. Hank
  3. I got my notification, called my dealer and am waiting for the parts to complete it. Hank
  4. I just replaced the battery in my 2013, no longer will accept or hold a charge. Put in a Motomaster Eliminator with a 10 year warranty and 4 year free replacement. Let see how long it actually lasts. Hank
  5. A boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into. Hank
  6. I was thinking of running these with snow tires. I tried one on the front of my 2013 it fits on the hub but binds on the brake caliper. The only way it would work is with a spacer. Hank
  7. Is anyone running 17 inch Pacifica rims on their journey ? Hank
  8. St Catharines Ontario
  9. Im not looking for an all season (3 season) tire I'm interested in all weather tires with a snow flake rating. Thanks, Hank
  10. As an alternative to getting winter tires has any one tried all weather tires? Any recommendations as to brand? I don't want to give up my smooth quiet ride. Hank
  11. The axle probably needs to have the proper torque applied. In the past with some of the Caravans I have owned I have had to actually over torque the axle nuts to prevent the clunking.
  12. My 2013 still has the original factory battery. I pulled it out cleaned the salt and sand from the Tray, Cleaned and Lubed the Battery Terminals. Lubed the mounting hardware. In my Owners manual on the maintenance schedule a battery terminal cleaning and service is called for at every oil change. I wonder if this is actually being done as stated on the schedule? Hank
  13. Just reuse your original springs to keep the original ride. Hank
  14. The will probably fit just will have springs with the wrong spring rate. They may sit to high with the lighter 2.4 Hank
  15. Depends on the condition of the rings, are they deformed or rusted? If they are in good condition I would have no problem reusing them. It is the press fit that retains them the snap ring is a backup to insure they stay where they are supposed to. Hank
  16. Thanks for the heads up on the cable grommet in the cowl.I noticed in the rear when I removed the molded cargo floor to hook up my trailer light harness. The bolt holes for the third row seats and seat belts that I don't have in mine. Are just covered with clear tape. On my Journey everything is nice and dry. A few of the Journeys we looked at before buying this one had rust and evidence of water in the jack compartment. When checking mine the spare tire winch has a poor fitting grommet. The spare tire was filled up to the top with gravel and salty road debris that I cleaned out and drilled a couple of drain holes into. Hank
  17. Mine on my 2013 is broken on the passenger side as well. I havent hod a chance to fix it yet. Hank
  18. I would leave it alone. I Used to put lower ristrction mufflers on, remove resonators etc on cars I owned in the past. Its always a comprimise and will probably leave you with negative side effects. Several of you flamed me on putting irridium spark plugs in, those same engineers tuned the engine to operate with the back pressure and flow from the factory set up. My 2 cents, Hank
  19. I doubt that anything other than the coolant changed for 2013, Fca changed over the whole model lineup for the new coolant. The main reason is the change interval is now 10 years. Time will tell if it actually better. Hank
  20. I have the Michelin blades from Cosco Canada as well. I have been using them on my Caravans and find they last about 2 years for me.. Hank
