  1. We have had this car since new so we are familiar with the lag issue, this is something all together different. If I remember correctly when you take the center panel off, the Uconnect has its own stand alone piece that plugs into the radio guts?? (Not sure) Anyways hoping that someone here has ran into this, and maybe can share a Mopar part # or diagram would be great for it??or a simple fix that may work.. Thanks...
  2. I have a 2012 Journey Crew with the 4.3 Uconnect. It will not pair my phone. The radio/climate and all other features work correctly just not the Uconnect. It just displays the "Ready to pair Device" Icon. but when you got to push the button nothing happens. We did a hard reset by unplugging the negative post off the battery and kept it off for half an hour. Hooked the wire back up and the Uconnect worked correctly again...but for about 2 days....then it went back again to what it was doing above. Does anybody have any suggestions?...or has anybody run across this problem? I really don't want to go back to the dealership, even if I knew what part number to buy (I am thinking it must be some kind of module, or stand alone unit) that would be a help. Or if I buy a part does it have to be programmed at the dealership in order to work correctly??. (This is out of my mechanics skillset so I am hoping Journey Forum can come through!!) Thanks....
  3. Well, the truth hurts.. for Dodge anyways. To bad.. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. And they (The Domestic CEO's) wonder why people are leaving the domestic manufacturers and buying other products.. I do understand most all parts are sourced in Asia/Mexico now because of cost. But why is it that other manufacturers are able to build a better quality product for the same money? Greed...that's why... The domestic manufacturers have had a lock on peoples spending habits for decades...but not anymore..
  4. To late, we have been driving that piece of crap with both the driver and passenger side trim busted. At this point that is the least of our worries.. The $1500 in transmission repairs to fix a front seal...and then $2500 to fix 2 broken drums in the back of the tranny is what pissed me off. $4 grand in a tranny plus 2 tow bills...and that is still not rebuilt! I will not buy another domestic vehicle as my next purchase.. To bad for them.. I have bought Dodge/Domestic products for 35 years...no more. This is absolutely crazy how much it has cost us to keep this pile of crap running!!.. Meanwhile, my brother the import driver (Who has the same kms all highway) changes his tires and 2 sets of brakes and that's it past oil changes...
  5. I agree 2 ratchet straps is the way to go...
  6. Hi, We have a 2012 Journey Crew 5 passenger. It is Silver with 19" rims. We have added mud flaps, bug deflector, and weathertech mats both front and back. So far so good, but have had the usual front break issue and have had problems with the seat base plastic cracking. We love how it rides and the throttle is very responsive, overall we are impressed...
  7. Wes, I don't have 5 posts yet so they will not let me answer your private message.... I am going to answer a few questions on the forum and hopefully it will then let me PM you.....I will reply....Tks Frank P.
  8. Hi Wes, That would be great! Got a question do you work directly for Dodge? If so in what Department?
  9. Hi, we are having a problem with both front bucket seats in our 2012 Journey Crew 5 pass. It has the heated cloth bucket seats in it.. Problems is that the foam in the seat base is really soft and will deform easily.....when it does you sink down in the seat, and it is uncomfortable. And now once on the drivers side, and twice on the passenger side the outside piece of plastic that covers the seat base (beside the doors) breaks off when you go to get out of the car!.... I realize I am a big guy, but my wife isn't and one has broken on her! When I have gone back to the dealership, they have seen this problem before...apparently it is common???? Anyone else have this problem?? If so what did the dealership do? It is getting tiring trying to replace these stupid piece's of plastic..
