In case anyone is interested. US sourced projectors I found on E Bay. Cheaper than the stuff from China.

You were right about the top part as well. Once I removed the lower panel, there were two screws exposed. After removing them, I was able to pull the whole tray and lid out.
Anyway, long story short, I got everything apart and applied plasti dip to them, but unfortunately with those horizontal grooves in the panel, it looked horrible. I peeled it and put it all back together. I guess I'll have to find a replacement, I thought I saw a thread where someone had used the dash out of an R/T or something....

Nope, nothing there. I've decided I'm gonna plasti dip my center stack, but I can't find any information on removing the bezel. Also, I can't figure out how to remove the door to the top compartment either...I think I'll start a new thread since I've done my due diligence searching the forum.

I have deleted my resonator it sounds a little deeper but not loud at all. I also had them start it while it was straight piped it sounds mean like a European sports car i was not expecting it to sound that nice.

pseudus got a reaction from dhh3 in Anthracite or Black? That is the question. Examples?
I intend to plasti dip my badges, front grill, rims and center console stack. I planned on doing the badges and grill and maybe the center console this weekend, but can't decide on black or anthracite. So that leats me to this, can you guys post examples of your rims done in either of those two colors please?
    Thanks!

Went out and gave the bottom a little more of a tug than before and it came loose, so thanks for that. Now to just figure out how to remove the door on the top compartment. Thanks!

The quick answer is: Don't drive at highway speeds with only the rear windows open. And RTFM before complaining about something that almost every vehicle does and which is documented in your manual.

Hey there, just my two cents ALL vehicals do this, it is not a design flaw, simply the movment of the wind. All of my vehicals (differant manufactuers)I have owned over the years have done this at some time or another which I will list below.
    88 Chrysler LeBaron GTS
93 Toyota Celica - sometime with the sunroof open
    95 Ford taurus
    97 Dodge Dakota Crew cab
    97 Dodge Intrepid
    99 Potiac Sunfire
    01 GMC Jimmy
    08 Avenger
and likely my soon to arrive next week 2011 Dodge Journey.

pseudus reacted to dhh3 in Hi there...Another new Journey Owner here...
I was on the Nitro ZForum for over 3 years!
As far as I know, there are no aftermarket tail lights for the DJ. Aftermarket headlights come from China and list for around $800. Your call!

pseudus got a reaction from dhh3 in Adding UConnect ?
Hi guys, new here. Just bought a 2009 DJ and am pretty happy so far. When I bought it, I noticed the UConnect buttons on the radio and didn't give it another thought, assuming it was indeed equipped. You can imagine my disappointment when I hit the button and my head unit returned the a message telling me UConnect not installed.
So the above is good news, can anyone provide a link to the right thing to get please.
    Thanks...
EDIT: Just did some research and am surprised at the cost of the module. Doesn't seem worth it to me, I can just install an aftermarket head unit with the features I want and more for the same price. Sorry for the counterproductive post.
