Radio black box ,screen,bezel and the rear view mirror are all essential to the uconnect system and need to be swapped out. OhareFred Posted April 16, 2014 Report Share Posted April 16, 2014 There is a hands free mod. that can be added to your 4.3 It uses a separate mic (I put mine near the overhead sun-glass holder on the drivers side) so you don't have to change the mirror. whole setup was under $150 in 09. works with my IPhone and with my Samsung Galixy phones.
