Headlight Wire Replacement

Recommended Posts

The Mrs. tells me the passenger side high beam isn't working.  I open the hood and notice the wire behind the bulb is cut/chewed cleanly.  I'll have to unwind the bundle of wires that goes across the front of the car to see what it connects to and how long it is to replace it.  I could strip and wrap the wire where it's cut or replace the entire wire.  Anyone do this?

If flush means against socket, new ones  aren’t expensive and give enough wire to splice into harness with. Avoid just taping connections if possible. It dries out and falls off.
