Just finished updating my radio to 15-26-63 and my nav to version 6.22 and it was a success . Now I will drive it for few days and hope it fix the problem of the radio station changing by themselves.

Yes - they are related. The latest firmware is supposed to 'cure' the problem. And the problem ONLY exists with the navigator; there is no campaign for non-navigator radios.
So go by the dealer if your radio is acting up - or simply make certain your radio is running the latest firmware, which is very easy to get and install. In theory once you have the most current versions of the radio and navigator firmware you should be immune to the 'can't unlock maps' issue.

Just came back from the dealer and they replaced the idler pulley. Hopefully now I will not listen to that noise again. Also they did the recall R61 for the ABS.

Does anyone have problems with their transmission. I have a DJ 2013 Crew. What I mean is that when I first take the DJ in the morning I find that the transmission shift hard and make a bang sound. When the engine has warm up it does not shift as hard. Is this normal ??

I know it is unnecessary, they will have to change it anyway. I will have to leave the car probably overnight for them to reproduce the noise. It would have been more pleasant for the technician to work on it now because the part would not be as cold.

Took my DJ in yesterday for radio problem and also took the TSB so they can replace the pulley and they told me that they have to wait for colder weather to replicate the problem. I could hear that high pitch noise when it was very cold, but I thought its was the alternator until I saw the TSB. Now I have to wait until next winter for them to look at it. What a pain!!!

Why is the tow harness not activated when you purchase the vehicle?
When someone install the tow harness kit they will not run into that problem. They give you the harness in the car and than you install it and you have to go to the dealer and get it activated. On top of that the instructions tell you to remove the bumper and the back lights and you do not have too. But they forget to tell you the most important thing! They do not tell you that you have to update the software so the lights work. Is Dodge trying to discourage people to install the hitch and harness themselves? Not too impress with this install. Now I will have to get an appointment at the dealer and get it flashed up.
Glad I came to this forum and read about this issue. Michel

You can adjust the volume of the nav voice only when the nav voice is speaking. While the nav voice is giving a command use the radio volume dial to adjust the voice volume and the system will remember that setting.
    Peace.

Just my two cents worth, but I too had problems with my remote, believing the battery was weak. A quick internet search will tell you there is definitely a design problem with the battery compartment. If you put pressure on the battery contact area of the case while trying to operate the remote will usually cause it to work properly. Since the remote is not covered under the warranty, ever, you're on your own.
Since you can program a new key fob on your own if you have two working remotes, the secret is to buy a new remote (from eBay) before one of them stops working. Otherwise you'll have to have the dealer program the new remote for you, and dealers charge anywhere from $50-$150 for this service. A new remote purchased from the Internet can be had for as little as $25 and then if you program it yourself, this is cheap insurance. But remember for this to work you have to do it while you have two working keys (most everyone waits till they need one) and then they're at the mercy of the dealer!
Hope this helps, and Happy Motoring.....

Is anyone aware of any leather covers for the DJ's key fob? I have seen some for other brands or years, but nothing that fits the 2k14 DJ.. Here is one for a Chevy Sonic... and here's what my key looks like...
    Any help would be great!
