If you park facing a wall and look at the light output from inside of the vehicle, the cutoff would be the line where the light cuts off at the top and transitions to dark... Does that make more sense?

    Hi all,
After few months of stage by stage mod, I finally completed my plan, here is my Journey 2015 edition:

LED headlight (2nd gen aftermarket headlights)

DRL (installed by auto-electrian, need tiny mod to fuse box)

Together with LED turn signal light

HID low beam & 6 mini led high beam

    Detail look into the headlights

Shark fin antenna (not a dummy)

Back (little chrome touch, and a V6 badge)

Finally the light effect at night

More info would be helpful... Does it always happen, only when the vehicle isn't warmed up, during shift, etc.?? Can you provide better detail of what exactly i happening?

Clunks are normal, unfortunately. If you are very concerned, a visit to the dealer is appropriate. Make sure you make them go for a ride with you so you can actually show them the issue.

Well didn't need to buy a smoked hood deflector and paint it. Shop in my small town found one made by Stampede and installed it today. Already had people taking pictures of it before it left the shop.
Funny thing is.....I sent Stampede a e-mail asking them about the part number for the Journey with the (-8) added to the end for the CHROME selection , and customer support replied back and told me Chrome was not avaliable for the Dodge Journey.
Well there wrong, unless this one was special order, Because it was not cheap.
Anyway here the part number 2260-8 sticker under deflector states 2009-2011 Journey, But my is a 2012 ...So the hoods never did change from 09-12.
Here two pics for you all. any question just ask.....Thanks.....Wife's loves it.
    Only one I ever seen.........Caper......

Is this on a 2014? Wouldn't doing something like this affect your warranty? Also, I would think the loss of backpressure would affect factory set system specs. in the engine and emission controls.

Here you go with the pictures:

Let me know if need more pictures. It is not a dummy chippo, this is an antenna, so I didn't lose radio. Installs on an adhesive over the stock antenna base with one scree to connect to the vehicle. I got mine custom painted to match the vehicle, love the look

Those guys can custom paint to match your paint code, maybe other sources available so far. I don't have any relations to the company, just got a quality product from them. It took a while, though - about 2 months from order to shipment.

To add one more thing to think about to the discussion...I had my 2011 R/T sprayed with the Krown application and if you have a new car treated within the first 3 months and then keep up the yearly treatment - Krown will warrenttee the vehicle for rust from the doors down for life. If your car rusts - they'll fix it which extends warrenttee far past what Dodge covers. Living in Ontario with our winters...this is what sold me!

I personally use the rust check spray system. It is quite similar to the Krown spray in the fact that they both are sprays that can be applied wet and actually repel water and get into all the crevices that water can get into. It prevents that water from freezing and flexing the metal which is why rust starts in the first place.
From what I remember, and if I'm wrong, someone please correct me, ziebart is a hard spray coating which covers everything. The problem is that if it chips, and water gets underneath the coating, your car can rust out and you'll never know it.

    cruisinbill,
I would imagine this wasn't the Master Shield version of undercoating...
I'd caution anyone from getting any 3rd party Service Contracts or protection plans.
Chrysler Canada nor the dealership has any control over 3rd parties which can lead to some unpleasant surprises for the Customer.
