Lobitz68 got a reaction from 11journeybama in Fault codep0520 on dodge journey
This is an oil level code I assume, based on jkeaton's reply? Was the light blinking?? This is probably the easiest indicator to tell you whether or not it is okay to drive the vehicle (and it should state this in your OWNER'S MANUAL). If the light is blinking, turn off the vehicle immediately. If it is a solid light, get it checked ASAP, but it is okay to drive the vehicle in the meantime. I would agree that this is probably a faulty sensor, but make sure your oil level is correct.

Can't see your pics from work, but mine are dipped black and then I sprayed glossifier over the top. They look very good and I get compliments all the time.

Lobitz68 reacted to Cody Chornobey Powley in 9006 LED bulbs
I used a mini h1/6.0 in my fogs and h1/7.0 in my lows, it acts as both hi and low same with the fogs, the pic is the 7.0 cut off and a output shot of the foglights. Building the headlights over the weekend finally

Over 100 feet away with hid projectors, I bet with those led you get maybe 50-60 feet of distance

Lobitz68 got a reaction from 11journeybama in 2015 OEM towbar on 2010???
Simplest way to find out would be to check part numbers with the dealer... Even if they aren't identical, they with likely have the same number with a different letter designation at the end.

I don't have time to do the search for you, but this is a known issue with a fix... If you took it in each time and it keeps happening then they should work with you outside of the warranty period.

Lobitz68 got a reaction from dhh3 in Alpine SPS-110TW Component Tweeters
That's why I usually mount them there... On a couple of occasions I've had to drill a hole in the door panel and mount them there, but still much easier and cleaner than a lot of the alternatives.

They usually have very little in them besides 3 nuts (one at each corner) to hold the mirror, and the wiring, which is usually fastened to the door and out of the way. Most component tweeters are fairly shallow, so I am banking on them fitting.

So the way I am reading this is that you have the 4.3, correct? If so Metra (I think??) has a kit to put in an aftermarket stereo. Look into it...

Lobitz68 got a reaction from francismori7 in Question about rear turn signal tailights
No way in hell you are getting away with not letting us know how you did the mod. Spit it out!!!
I wonder if you could do the mod you did and add one of those flashers that have them flash sequentially from the inside out, kind of like you see on a lot of Mustangs. That would interest me a great deal.

Lobitz68 got a reaction from dhh3 in 2011 SXT Front wheel drive in the snow. All season tires
Waseca, MN?? That's in southern MN where it's fairly warm in the winter!
You have a point on getting rear ended, I guess my point was that it MAY help me to avoid an accident by providing more traction to stop or by making it harder to lose control performing some maneuvers. Either way, assuming I drive to the conditions (which I do), they are more helpful than not. Of course we still don't have any snow that has stuck around this year. They did perform great last night when the temp dropped quickly and the roads by my house in the burbs were like an ice rink.

I was thinking about getting new summer wheels. I will decide in the spring.

Ha! All I have done is my wheels and anything not black on the front end... and it was right after I bought it 2 years ago. I figured I'd have to touch it up quite a bit (pun INTENDED ), but not yet

Mine have been dipped for a year and a half with no signs of wear. They have also had the rubber switched out to winter tires. No need to touch up if you do it right and get a pro to change the tires.

You could probably get a roll of this stuff several feet long for half the price and just cut it out by yourself. That being said... The product description is great! Ha! What?

INCORRECT
Superchips is a tuner company that cracks into the vehicle programming and changes parameters that affect driveability, shift points, HP, torque, fuel economy and so on... Superchips is a reputable and proven company that provides a quality product which performs exactly as stated. I owned one for my Dakota and Ram and they are well worth every penny...nothing available for the DJ though.
The cheap ass chips on eBay are the ones you are talking about.
