  1. It will be doable once he's in a forward facing seat. The youngest is 8 months old.
  2. The booster fixed my 13. We looked at Challengers and couldn't get two car seats in the back. Lol. I tried and tried...
  3. The pedal in my car is normal after they put a booster in it.
  4. My 2013 had a power booster fail when it was 3 weeks old. The spring inside the booster broke, and the pedal felt and sounded kinda like bumping your foot on one of those spring thingys for a door in a house. I can't think of a better way to describe it.
  5. I have a 2013 and i really regret not getting the third row because of the heat and a/c. The rear windows stay pretty frosted up all winter here in Wisconsin. In summer, the back seat doesn't get cool. It was 80 today, and after a 45 minute drive it was finally livable. Other than that, I'm happy. I average mid 20's for fuel mileage if I stay out of the go pedal. The factory Kumho tires arent good in snow, and they get rock hard below 40 degrees. I got Blizzacks for winter so I don't worry about it now. My car has 38900 miles. Just replaced the right rear wheel bearing yesterday. Not too much else has really gone bad, just maintenance stuff.
  6. Next to my 2013 DJ, is my wife's 2015 Jeep Cherokee, and our (my) 1966 Plymouth Satellite. I need to start working on it soon. The 383 BB is really heavy to move around.
  7. I think I've finally found the first person ever to actually like their Envoy/Trailblazer!! I have personally know 3 different people that have owned them. None were worth a crap. In fact, one was so bad they bought a Ford, which they absolutely wouldn't have ever owned before they bought their Envoy. All had nothing but problems with them around 80k miles or so. From lots of electrical gremlins to water pumps and water leaks inside the suv. And all had front suspension issues. And all loved them when they got them. Btw, dee, if you wanted a comparable vehicle, it would have been a Durango. A Journey would compete with a Terrain. Completely different price and size class.
  8. I also agree with the V6. I'm assuming you would get the third row since you have three kids. I didn't, but only have two. I regret it because the two row Journeys don't have heat or ac in the back. It gets awfully cold in the back seat in winter.
  9. I like Wisconsin. It's $75.00 a year I think. It might go up soon. But it doesn't matter what your car is worth. It's only higher if it's a truck plate. Then you pay on the weight you want.
  10. I assume they are talking about those tow bars where all 4 wheels are on the ground. If the front wheels are off the ground, I cant see where there would be a problem.
  11. Yeah, my chocolate lab likes putting her paws in the dirtiest part of the yard right before she gets in. Lol.
  12. I thought about seat covers too. My problem is, I have heated seats. The seat covers are designed to rip where the airbag is. I personally don't trust that though. If it slows down the airbag even a millisecond, then it won't be fully deployed when you hit it. YouTube a side impact crash test. You'll see what I mean.
  13. I have the Curt harness on my 13. I've had nothing but problems with mine. I'm going to the factory setup if I can. All I have is a right brake light on all the time, even if the car is off and no lights are on!
  14. I'm hoping someone figures this out. I have the same exact problem on my 13.

Geez, for the amount of engine problems I was expecting the car to have 215000 miles. Welcome aboard!
  16. Were the heated seats aftermarket? I thought that it was a package in the Journey that if you got one, got both?
  17. I also agree. But mostly because you can't turn off the heated seat or steering wheel if you're on the phone. My hands and rear get really toasty if my wife is on a rant. I'm not brave enough to stop her so I can hang up...
  18. I'm sure your fuel economy jumped up when you removed e winter tires. Winter tires have a horrible rolling resistance.
  19. Does your remote start work with the TPMS sensors? My car won't start with the factory remote when I have a tire low on air. The lights just blink and then nothing. Put air in the tire and works normal once it checks the tires again.
  20. You don't have to get a 8.4 to get Uconnect. Mine has it with the 4.3. I just don't know what you would need to add it.
  21. That's crazy! Not too surprised though. My car has a strange popping and creaking noise coming out of the front end. Two different Dodge dealers say nothing's wrong with it. I wonder what they'll say at 36001 miles...
  22. That bolt is supposed to be holding the top of the knuckle in place. Your rear tires wore out because the rear suspension CANNOT be in alignment with that bolt loose. Period. It will cause a negative camber and possible toe issue, meaning the rear tires won't want to travel in the same direction. Aka, wears them out very quickly. I would seriously talk to your dealer and Chrysler and have a little talk about who should have paid for those tires.
