  1. Low rolling resistant tires DO improve fuel economy. By .2 to .3 mpg. Not 2 to 3 mpg. The heavier the vehicle, the bigger improvement.
  2. The heated seats and steering wheel turn on at about 37 degrees and below.
  3. Lol..i thought my radio was the only one to do that!! Last week I looked at the time, and started driving like a Sh&*head because I thought I was late for work. I ended up being 6 minutes early..
  4. I have a couple of annoyances with my '13 Journey. First is when I use remote start to start the car. If I open the rear hatch, to lets say grab my snow brush, and close it, and then open the drivers door, about 70% of the time the car will shut off. Kindof defeats the purpose. Second, if I get in the car, close the door, and start it, and then my wife gets in the passenger side with the other set of keys in her purse, the radio wont work. I have to shut the car off and restart it. I also hate the Kumho tires. Cant wait til there bald so I can put decent tires on it.
  5. My car started that today. It's going into the dealer tomarrow. It sounds like a chain banging against metal...
  6. Holy crap!!! Someone else is having the same issue as me. Sortof at least. Mine pulled left originally and was feathering the front tires. 3 dealers later, and now it pulls right and wanders all over the road. The front suspension has also become very noisy. (clunks and pops). If I grab the top of the right front wheel and shake it, you can feel play and it will start clunking. Dealer says this is normal and they see Rams do this fromn time to time. What a Ram has to do with a Journey I'll never know.
  7. I'm curious if anybody else is having issues with the front end of their DJ? My car has been in 3 dealers for 4 alignments now, and they keep saying everything is fine. That since the alignment is within spec, they cant do anything. The problem is, the steering wheel is crooked and it pulls. The car also has bumpsteer anytime I hit a bump with the right front tire. Better yet, I can grab the right front tire and shake it. When I get the car moving side to side, it starts clunking, and you can feel the play in it. Dealer says they see this all the time, even in Rams. I call BS, thats not normal. Usually I get mad and start screaming, but I'm calm and can say never again Chrysler. I have owned 7 new Chrysler products in the last 13 years. I really like new cars lol. Time for me to move on. I'll try a company thats actually helps their customers.
  8. Its the easiest way that I've found........Some guys can turn it on a dime or turn it right downtown......
  9. The small rust spots dont have anything to do with the paint. What happens is when the car is on the train from the factory, little metal "chips" float around the rail car from the wheels and brakes of the train wearing down. Its kind of like brake dust on your wheels. What happens is those metal shavings are hot and when they land on the paint, they stick. The rust you see is those metal shavings rusting from the elements. A clay bar pulls those chips out of the paint. You then wax and buff the car to protect it.
