    love tap

Of course cops are moving away from Crown Vics, they haven't been built since 2011. Ever try to put 4 "home boys" in the back seat of a Charger? Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one!
  2. I have an after market remote start on my 2011. It is Astro Start and has available start from your phone, Only problem is the app is free but module costs $249. I don't need it that bad. Install should only take few hours if competent installer.
  3. Translation, wx is ham radio talk for weather. From an ex-VE6.
  4. I think this should be one for DodgeCares to check into. Be interesting to see his response for us guys up here where it gets really cold!
  5. I.ve got the same problem with mine. Must be the fwd. Mine even does it at 60kph. With the weather we've had over the past month had to park it and get into my F150 4x4. Those guys down east and south don't know our road conditions are different than their's. They have more moisture sitting on top than us due to their warmer temps.
  6. We had -38.6 C here a few days ago. -40 C is about where it evens out to F. We have electric block heaters up here in Northern Alberta that heats up the coolant to help start easier. Everything whines at those temps. Keep smiling down South! B)
  7. He also said trying to make love at 85 is like trying to shoot pool with a piece of spaghetti!
  8. Not sure but I think you will find it is the drains on the mufflers. Mine does it all the time.
  9. Great writeup Frogbox. I'm sure a lot of people were just waiting for someone else to try it first. Should be quite a few more conversions soon. I can see you have experience. Board under the wheels of the floor jack on the pavement, poked a few holes have we? Cheers
  10. Good vid. Remember the first time I kicked mine down doing about 40 kph. Scared me for a minute, reminded me of the late 60's! Torque steer wow!

    Hit and Run

That sucks man. Trouble is these guys never get caught until something like this happens.
  12. Nice writeup. I use the Porter Cable 7424 orbital polisher and the klasse "Twins", polish and sealer from eshine. Never use the brush at the car wash unless you want swirls and scratches and no, the spray wax at car wash is not going to protect your paint. If your paint is a few years old it needs a clay job or all you will do is grind all the grit into your paint when you wax.
  13. If not a brake problem it could be a bent rim or separated tire. If rim is bent they should have caught it when balanced.
  14. I would also change it just for peace of mind. Oil does break down over time even though it still looks clean. With stop and go city driving and our Western Canada winters more frequent oil changes are just added insurance. Most manufacturers would deem this servere driving conditions.
  15. Hello Dave, and welcome. I'm new to the site also and finding the forums very interesting reading. Know what you mean about your fuel prices but I also know you guys get some pretty nice vehicles over there that aren't available to us in Canada and USA. Hear weather has been bit rotten over there lately. Enjoy your stay. Glen
  16. Thanks for the welcome guys. I am located up in the cold country, Grande Prairie.
  17. New Journey owner from Alberta. Name is Glen and old enough that I checked the obits this morning and I wasn't there. Bought a black 2011 Journey SXT for the wife couple of weeks ago and just getting used to it. First Dodge since 1976 B200 short wheelbase van. Always been a Ford guy but she wanted this one. Unit is black, are there any other colours? Have a few ideas for mods but time will tell.
