  1. Hi All. I have a 2009 Journey SXT,this week i had two new Tyres and one of the TPMS valves had corroded and just fell apart,i phoned the Dealer and was quoted over £200!! for a replacement part fitted, the actual part costs only £63.00,he said that it had to be done by them as the part needed to be "Diagnostically matched to the Vehicle"does anyone know if this is true?,i have searched the net and there has been mention of the vehicle automatically picking up the signal if you drive at a certain speed for a period of time, but this has generally applied to wheel after re-inflation. I have a frien who is a Tyre fitter and he could fit it for me but i need to know if it will work, and taht damn warning light is getting on my nerves. Maybe i should just take the bulb out?,anyway, does anybody know if an off the shelf original part will match itself to the vehicle after fitment?. Many thanks. Dave.
  2. Hello everybody. I'm Dave and i live in the UK,I'm a Train Driver(Engineer) and enjoy reading and watching Rugby in my spare time,i'm also into traditional shaving using DE Safety Razors,a better shave and cheaper than the multi blade efforts currently being sold. My car is a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT and i lthink it's a great vehicle,it has all i want,DVD,satnav,Infinity sound system, but, sadly,we dont get them with the bigger engines you enjoy in the United States, just as well considering our fuel prices over here. Well, that's me and i'm looking forward to perusing the forum for hints, tips and advice. Dave.
