Here is the diagram, and part #'s, for the PTU. Hopefully they help someone out.

    Differential Assembly Fluid Change
STANDARD PROCEDURE - DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY FLUID CHANGE
JS RDA MOUNT FILL AND DRAIN
The drain plug (2) for the differential assembly is located in the bottom of the differential assembly case, toward the rear of the unit.
The fill plug (3) for the differential assembly is located on the left side of the assembly case.
The correct fill level is to the bottom of the fill plug hole. Be sure the vehicle is on a level surface, or is hoisted in a level manner, in order to obtain the correct fill level.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
Position a drain pan under the differential drain plug.
Remove the drain plug and allow the fluid to drain into the pan.
Install the drain plug and torque to 35 N·m (26 ft. lbs.).
Re-position the drain pan under the differential fill plug.
    Remove the differential fill plug.
Using a suction gun or equivalent, fill the differential assembly with 0.7 L (0.74 Quarts) of Mopar® Gear and Axle Lubricant (75W-90).
Install the fill plug and torque to 35 N·m (26 ft. lbs.).

Nice!!! So you installed one Flowmaster, and ran twin pipes to the rear? How exactly is the exhaust set up? Are those mufflers or resonators that are closest to the rear bumper cover?

Brakes are a non-issue, IIRC ever since they upgraded them in 2011/12. Earlier models with the terribly undersized brakes had tons of issues. Mine dont squeal at all. Going to another dealer for a second opinion is a good choice. I would also suggest making a service person ride with you so you can show them the issues.

So, I picked up the new R/T last night, and I am thrilled with it! That AWD kills the FWD feel, IMO. But get this, the owner before me left all of his phone contacts, stored in the UConnect, and had his home and work address still stored in the GPS. He better be glad I'm an honest person.

Do you have 3rd row seating? The cargo cover only fits the standard 5 pass journeys.

I would talk to a lawyer immediately, and possibly discuss with him a counter suit against her, after this is over with. Frivolous/false claims lawsuits will never end in this country, until the people are held responsible for attempting them.

A few questions that I have are, did the police issue a citation for her crash? And what was the cause of the crash on the report? It is and has been my rule of thumb to not speak to the other parties other than are you ok and I'm calling 911 for help. Exchanging insurance information makes you involved. If your vehicle wasn't struck and law enforcement does not see you as being a factor in the crash then no need for the other party to know who you were other than a witness to their bad driving. You will more than likely have to go for a deposition, as will the officer and any other witnesses. As far as not being mentioned in the report it should be because you are not involved, not because there was no damage. That is another question. And depending how far she wants to push this you may want to talk to a lawyer about this. In most cases insurance companies are good at weeding out the bad cases. When the first thing out of her mouth was about insurance I would have become instantly mute. I have had to talk to a few Insurance Companies about situations like this and as long as you have all of your facts and witnesses you should have nothing to worry about.
Good luck and be glad no one in your car was hurt. Keep us posted!

I'm at a loss as to why the dealer would decline the repairs. Are the warranty conditions the same in Bazil as they are in the U.S.? As in, do you have a 58,000km bumper to bumper warranty, and a 160,000km powertrain warranty as we have?

The early 3.6's that had the cylinder #2 misfire, have consistently had the head on that side of the engine replaced. It will be covered under your warranty, and it will also be fine for you to drive on until it gets replaced. I've been driving mine for the past 2 weeks, waiting on the head that is on back order. The only issues are what you stated, a little lag, slightly rough idle at times, and possibly degraded fuel mileage. Good thing is, got the call today that the head is in, and now I just have to go drop the Journey off at the dealer.

While it is true that TSB repairs are covered within the provisions of the warranty, your dealer can certainly be reimbursed from Chrysler for a reflash if your mileage is only 3000 over. Your vehicle is still within the 36 month time frame. The warranty does, in fact, state that it is either 36 months or 36K miles, whichever occurs first, but since you are well within the time limit and only over by a few thousand miles, coverage would be no problem.
The other, more pertinent point is this: If your vehicle qualifies for the M38 software reflash, then it is considered a Customer Satisfaction / Recall campaign and dealer reimbursement for the reflash would be a non-issue. PM your VIN to me if you like and I can easily check that for you.
With regard to the check engine light - if in fact you have a cylinder misfire due to a faulty head, that would be covered by the Powertrain Warranty which is 60 months or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. In the meantime, make an appointment to have it checked out since there is a wait time due to their backlog.

Got the Journey back today! Everything looks great, and I was surprised with getting it back early too! It was originally supposed to be finished this coming up Thursday, but got the call this morning that it was ready. I was so glad to drop that freakin' 2013 Chevy Captiva back off at Enterprise!!! Haha.

.. So to answer the original question..
The relay won't work. You'll just get a loud buzzing.
You are going to need hid's that are can bus compatible.
8000 isn't bad in my opinion, but you do loose some brightness.
With 6000 you get a real nice OEM look though. Anything LESS, and it's pointless.
For those who don't know, there's 2 different types of HID bulbs. D2R, and D2S.
The D2R is designed for reflector (DJ) and won't spread out the light.
As long as you have the right bulb, you're ok.
Cops only pull over people for the 10000ks or 12000ks because of the color being too cop like.
