  5. Here's a link to TireRack... you will need to know your stud size. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=107 Cheers
  6. Just signed up. No data for 2012 Journey's yet so let's go guys & gals. This could be a valuable resale tool. Get your data in and complete the quarterly reports. Also if the same issue is coming up again and again, class action suits will have the backup required. Cheers
  7. Never been a fan of black rims but I love the grill and step boards. Great job.
  8. Attention to The Dodge Journey Forum Moderators... Could we please get a "How To" section for The Dodge Journey Forum? I think that this would be a valuable tool to this forum. Maybe a couple of the most requested "How To's" could be stickied such as an Engiine Oil Change for example. Being a past and current member of many other automotive forums, they all have a "How To" section. Here on The Dodge Journey Forum, videos, pictures and written details could walk anyone through a specific "how to" for their Dodge Journey. I know that there are currenlty how to's scattered all over this forum but to get them all in one place would be a huge benefit. For example, I just completed a DIY oil change and learned a lot as it was my first DIY change on our Journey. I would be willing to contribute to this new section as I am sure many other members would be whether it is a simple oil change or how to build an intake system or how to change the rear wiper or how to change a fog light bulb. The list of "How To's" goes on and on and on. Thank you and I hope that you will take this request into consideration and if fellow members feel it would be an asset to the forum - speak up and reply to this thread with your support. Cheers, Rob
  9. Live in Barrie. Purchased our 2012 from Mac Lang in Orillia. No problems at all with the sound group. Get it back to the dealer ASAP - could be damaged connection to the rear antenna??? Good luck. Cheers.
  10. Yes, welcome. Unlimited info on here to assist in making decisions. Congratulations on your purchase. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy your new ride and this forum. I'm in Barrie just up the 400. Enjoy. Cheers.
  11. I know this looks really nice but I believe this may well accelerate the bubbling / peeling process by trapping condensation behind the covers. I think the best process is to wrap them with a high quality vinyl like a 3M product if you want them different than the body color. In the spring I may wrap mine in 3M Di-noc carbon fibre vinyl. So far I have not experienced any paint peeling - touch wood.
  12. Welcome NSJ. Congratulations and enjoy. We've had ours since June and love it. So far we added a K&N drop in, Dodge molded front and rear splash guards, WeatherTech front mats, Dodge door sill protectors and took some of the badging off the back - looks cleaner and we just tinted the front windows. You'll love all that torque when it's needed. Power galore. Please post some pics if you get a chance. Would love to see your new ride. Cheers
  13. Seems this thread has moved to bumper protection so... Firstly, welcome and enjoy. Secondly, has anyone seen this bumper protector for 2011 & 2012's? I like the look of it and would love to hear feedback anyone has. Cheers. http://www.koreanautoimports.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=12760
  14. My understanding is you need a special tool for the rear but the fronts is a straight forward change like any other car (c-clamp). There is a topic somewhere on here regarding the process for the rears. Cheers
  15. Ya... that really sucks. The size of some people's balls!!! Our 2012 SXT came with locking lugs on the truck as well as a new pack in the back with the trailer tow package bag. Hope your insurance company takes good care of you. Cheers. PS: The bra looks great.
  16. This is identical to my 8.4. I love the bright colors and all the functions. I would almost dare to say... best in the automotive world. Love it!!!
  17. Yes... congratulations and again, welcome from Canada. We see a lot of Journeys in Barrie, ON also but most are the Canada Value ones. 2 quick questions for ya... Did you have the option of the V6 across the pond or just the 2.4 and what is the price of a litre there now? The reason I ask is we lived in Scotland from 97' to 99' and if I remember right it was about £1.30 ($2.50 CDN)per litre. Enjoy your new ride. Cheers.
  18. Hey all. We just got our DJ in June but I am a bit of a forward thinker. Right now thinking about spark plugs. Of course there are OEM but then there are Iridium, NASCAR Advantage, various Platinum brands and the relatively new E3's. Looking towards the future, has anyone with the new 3.6L changed their plugs yet and what did you use? Just looking for some general knowledge, do's & don'ts and input on when the time comes, what direction would YOU go? I tend to pick parts up when there on sale knowing I may not require them anytime soon but their in the garage when I need them. Thanks for any advice, knowledge or experience that may come from this topic. Cheers.
  19. Nobody has an actual replacement LED bulb that will fit without modification? Is it just because it is a new "Chrysler" only bulb or just a new bulb that no LED specialty company has deemed in demand for sale? I don't mind making modifications but if I can wait a month or two for an LED to perfectly replace the OEM bulb with an aftermarket LED, I would rather wait. Anybody's thoughts???
  20. In the winter you can also take advantage of the engine block heater. This will cut your idle time down significantly waiting for the coolant to come up to temp. Cheers.
  21. Welcome Shaun. I totally agree with the above statement by "sysbasys". You'll find some great discussion's here with lots of different ideas and guides. We're first time Dodge owners and absolutely love the DJ. We got our 2012 SXT V6 in June... so far, an awesome experience. Enjoy and ask away. Always loads of input. Cheers.
  22. That would be the 2012's sitting on a lot in August wouldn't it? I don't know if the 2013's have begun delivery yet - I would assume not.
