  1. Jeff. Does your DJ still have the original tires on it? Tire choice as we all know is key to winter handling and performance.
  2. I've changed a tire in a mall parking lot before, people looked & gauked but they always keep walking. They were probally able to do it without so much as a peep out of Christmas shoppers. Disgusting. It takes concerned citizens to stop this kind of tweaker activity.
  3. That's the Emergency personal. If the cars not a write off when they arrive, it is when they leave but... Thank you to all Emergency Responders! They can be life savers.
  4. Polish it with Rain-x. It helps a bit
  5. Get an Android, problem solved. Somebody had to :)
  6. I like the "missing" license pkate holder. Wish we could run in Canada without them. Looking good. Is that the bright red or brilliant red? Depending on the pic angle, sometimes mine looks red where in others you can clearly see the pearl coat - bit darker looking.
  7. I've searched as well and this or dealer are about the only options right now. I remember reading somewhere about a guy who trimmed down the H10 and he was able to make it fit? Not sure if possible or not. I'm also on the lookout for maybe an LED replacement. I'll update the forum if I find anything.
  8. All these responses and not one Brilliant Red Tri-coat Pearl? I would like to add one
  9. Sounds nice. Enjoy your new 13' DJ. I have to agree, the centre stack and instrument cluster work well for placement and visibility.
  10. Cheers guys. Looks like Christmas is best. Sounds right. Already took first steps - went and looked around and dropped my email address to 2 sales. Already been contacted Let the games begin!
  11. This sounds like our 2012 SXT but with lots of extras - 19's too. Ours is closer to an RT than an SXT.Congrats.
  12. Anyone know the lug nut size for the 5 x 127 hubs - what the thread is? Wanting to put some better quality lug nuts on our DJ and I understand there are different size nuts? Thanks
  13. Generally, when is the best time of year to visit a dealership to trade up a model year? When is a dealership willing to really bend on the price - December, February? Situation... Purchased June 2012. We may want to jump into an "on the lot" 2013 in the coming months. Cheers
  14. Great poll Rolly. We purchased in June off the lot but I know it didn't sit because the assembly date was May so we got a fresh one No issues at all so far -fingers crossed. I can certainly see transportation / lot time and weather being a factor in some exterior issues but not sure anyone could prove such???
  15. Actually got the bumper protector on this forum. Drove about 40 minutes and purchased it new in box from a gentleman who had ordered it but decided not to put it on his DJ. No, it is not an RPG product. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/4718-dodge-journey-2011-2012-2013-molded-rear-bumper-paint-guard/
  16. Yah for sure Journeyman. Looks and runs strong. Love driving it
  17. Chris, our DJ SXT has an assembly date of May 2012 and it HAS the larger brakes. We are now at 32000 km and the front pads are at about 60% remaining. No brake issues here.
  18. Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Lots to read. Good luck with the new addition and enjoy your new Journey.
  19. Hey DCAC,Mopar identifies the above part as... 2007 - 2009 Dodge Nitro Cold Air Intake CAI 3.7L OEM Mopar 77060080 in Automotive, Parts & Accessories, Car ... Don't think the part # is correct. Just FYI. Part #77060048 is the "sorta" correct part - it is for the 3.6l Avenger.
  20. Sept/13 - Just over one year in and still loving our DJ :)
