  1. I brought a control number to the dealer when i made my purchase...a friend from chrysler that gave it to me said to present it to them once you are done negotiating the price to get them to drop the price even further...i did exactly what was told and was able to get $250 more off the price. not exactly what i was expecting but i am confident i got the best available price
  2. I had mine in yesterday complaining about this same noise and they indicated that it had to do with there being 3mm left on the rear pads. They insisted I get them replaced as this would solve the problem but I was not sold as what would the 3mm left on the rear brakes have to do with squeaking while driving. There is 45K on my Journey and am kind of suprised that there was that much wear on the rear brakes as opposed to the front brakes.
  3. My 2011 has had both of these noises since I drove it off the lot. Not too concerned but will definately get it taken care of once there are TSB released.
  4. I don't understand what the logic is to having the TPMS in 7kpa intervals in the Canadian version. If they were gonna do that why didnt they just leave it in PSI? I understand that PSI is USA and kpa is CAD but this means that a change of 1 PSI would be visible on the display but a change of 6 kpa would not. You would be able to see on the TPMS a change from 36psi to 35psi, however on a change from 255kpa to 249kpa you would not know. WTF?
  5. You keep the car running when you pump gas?
  6. Pressue will always get higher as you drive and they start warming up.
  7. I use Mobil 1 full sythetic in my Journey and love it. I did some research on what I wanted and chose Mobil 1. I will admit that if someone was offering free oil changes, I would not care about the sythetic vs. conventional debate as there are some pros and cons to both but will definately be outweighed by the benefit of the free changes. Also, if switching to sythetic, keep your change intervals the same. Conventional or sythetic has nothing to do with the change intervals. All the best.
  8. Hi there, I just signed up yesterday and have a 2011 Journey Crew. Have not modified anything yet other than upgrade to Mobil1 5W-20. I will be tiniting windows shortly. Thanks
  9. Did 8.2L/100km in my 2.4L this summer on a road trip through the USA (approx. 4400km). I did approach 900km per tank as well.
