  1. I love this one ^ . I can't wait to get a bit more done on mine and start posting pics.
  2. Welcome to the site. It's nice to see the Journey on foreign roads.
  3. Don't be skurred ! Hahah Nah, I'm leaving mine nice and quiet too.
  4. I think there's a lot of guys who's wives said no minivan haha. I rented a 2010 Grand Caravan in 2010 that only had 23 miles on it when we got it and drove it 9 hours from MD to VT. We were almost dead set on getting one. Thankfully we waited until we were expecting our 3rd baby (Expected January). We looked at a few vehicles, including the Caravan again and decided to go with the Journey. She loves it and it has grown on me in the short time we've had it. I actually enjoy it more than my 400hp Mustang. Super smooth, tons of storage and room for kids/friends/family/etc., and quiet enough that you can't realize how fast you're going until you look. I'd definitely recommend it.
  5. It's funny. Everything I decided to do to my DJ while driving home from the dealer, people are doing to theirs as well haha. Fishing line is def the best way I've found to remove badges. If you use heavy enough line, you can use it to pull up the stubborn badges that won't move. I'm debadging this week too.
  6. What kind of difference did you notice in acceleration and shifting ? I've done exhaust on every single car I've owned but I don't know if I will do the DJ's exhaust. I'm just curious if you picked up noticeable horsepower/torque.
  7. Thanks for the welcome. I've got the tails getting smoked now and the tips ill put on this week some time. I'm sick as shit right now and I can barely walk, let alone work on the car haha. I'm more than likely picking up an intake after the holidays and I've been tossing around the thought of side steps. BTW, those rubber floor liners are def a must for this thing. It's gonna be my main snowboarding/Surfing/beach/family vehicle so it's definitely getting used as was the intention when we bought it. I'd like to keep the mileage low, but we will drive it. Any suggestions I'd be more than willing to hear. Like I said. I'm a car guy but new to the Mopar world and new to Crossovers. Thanks again. Shaun
  8. I fought the idea of something like this as well but I made the agreement with my wife that we could get it as long as I could put my own touches on it and make it look and run better. I'm kinda diggin it now. Congrats on the baby and the new vehicle. We just picked up ours for the same reason haha. Good luck with both. Post up some pics of that new whipske.
  9. Whats up everyone. I'm Shaun, I'm 34 and I'm from Cecil County, MD. I came across this site while searching for some upgrades for the 2010 Dodge Journey SXT I just picked up last week. My wife and I are expecting our 3rd child and thought we might need to get a bigger vehicle because my 2004 Mustang GT vert and 2000 Jetta GLS aren't exactly roomy enough for 2 big kids and a newborn. We came across the 2010 Journey used with only 40k on it and got it for about $8,000 less than Nada/KBB values. Anyway, this is our first Dodge and we love it. I already have some plans to make it a little more personalized. I picked up some nice rounded tips to make the dual exhaust look nice, I have my BIL who's a professional painter putting a light smoke on the tail lights (leaving the reverse lights clear though) and I'm gonna pick up an intake from a Dodge Avenger and give it a lil more pep in its step. Down the line, next year perhaps, I'd like to get some Jeep SRT8 wheels or even R/T wheels so I can ditch the stockers except during winter. After those mods, I'm probably going to leave it alone. I modded my other two cars heavily and I kinda like having a nice quiet and smooth riding vehicle for a change. The 2010 Journey The other whips Thanks for viewing. I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm new to these vehicles so if anyone has any tips for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
