  1. It'll be a new model and the last right? Thought I heard they were discontinuing the DJ after 2014...
  2. Yeah, just pop the hood and you'll see that the underside of the washer nozzle has some clips. You use some needle-nose plyers and squeeze the washer nozzle and it pops out from the top side of the hood. Be careful with these, super fragile and break easily. My passenger side one broke in half even though I hadn't touched the stupid thing. I had to super glue it back together.
  3. Oh I hear ya, recirc should be allowed at all options. But it's been that way for every car I've owned...Chevy Malibu, Acura RSX, Hyundai Tiburon. None of them allow recirc except for forward vents only. I don't know why cars are like that...
  4. Thanks for being SUPER helpful. Serious question ya'll!
  5. Are you talking the turbo setups where they mount the turbo underneath the vehicle? Those setups aren't too efficient, you lose a lot of exhaust velocity when you mount it 5-8 feet down the exhaust tube, instead of ~1foot from the engine.
  6. You don't have to use the stock 225/55/19 tire size. It's a known dealer accepted option (they put out a bulletin) to use 235/55/19's instead (which have way more options and are cheaper).
  7. I upped all tires to 36psi with my hand gauge. This matched the TPMS and there's no more chime/light displaying. Now when I drive and they heat up, the psi gets up to 39psi. Is that too much for when they're warmed up?
  8. I never use the auto climate control. At least in my 2012 Crew it freaking sucks. It's never correct (never cold enough when it should be). Am I wrong in thinking that on a 110deg day, you would want front and rear full fan speed (face vents only) with recirculate turned on? Cause for some reason the auto will turn on the defrost vents on hot days...
  9. I like that, I may try that out (if it's the same on 2012's).
  10. That's what happens when you use the cheapest bidder korean/vietnamese/china made clock .
  11. I haven't really used it. Is it for using your phone only or does it control other functions like stereo/climate control/etc?
  12. Happens on my 2012 Crew all the time. Whistle gets louder as the air fan blows faster. Happens maybe half the time. It's annoying, but I wouldn't bother taking it to the dealer or anything. What's a bigger problem for me is when I use the remote start, the A/C will not blow nearly as hard (maybe 3/4 of usual fan speed/power). It will be like that for the entire time until you shut it down then restart the engine (without the remote). Then it's back to full blast air. What would cause this? Does the remote start mess with the climate control system or something?
  13. Just an update. I wasn't a fan of the brightness of these backup bulbs (I would not recommend these for a backup bulb ever). They totally sucked: http://www.ddmtuning...ts/3156-3157LED (the 60x3528 bulb). So instead I ordered these and holy cow, what a difference for only $2 more per bulb. These are ridiculously bright, far brighter than stock! Love them. Only problem is they were a bit too wide to fit in the brake light housing. So I took a dremel and made the circle opening for the light bulb connector a little bit wider. Couple minutes later, problem solved: http://www.ddmtuning...t.php?II=305247
  14. Fuel gauge in this vehicle is all jacked up. Not only can you not fill up the tank all the way. But now my low fuel light comes on and chimes with over 1/4 tank left (5 gallons or so). That's a bit pre-mature if you ask me. I don't even watch me fuel gauge anymore, and I ignore the low fuel light. I just go by my trip distance. Once I get to 400 miles I know it's about time to fill up (since I average 23mpg every tank). Screw the fuel gauge!
  15. Regardless, this car is still whack. Yesterday I started it and all 4 tires were at 32. Drove it for several hours and all 4 tires went up to 33psi. No tpms warning or anything. What the freak?
  16. I don't understand what's going on. I've manually checked the tire pressure and they are all at 35psi (same as the day I bought it 4 months ago). Now when I start the car everytime, it beeps at me and displays the message with all 4 tires showing 31psi. Then I start to move and they go up to 34-35psi and stay up there for the rest of the drive. But the warning message is still latched the whole time. Does the warning realy go off with 1 psi low tire pressure? You would think it wouldn't go off until 5-10 psi low (like my old Malibu). Why does it go off with 34-35 psi in the tires? Super wierd...
  17. Good point. I'll be doing the job myself...but I'll save my reciepts and log it in the maintenance manual when I change everything out.
  18. Nope, us 2012 owners still have to worry about it. Our 2012 Crew started the shudder while braking at about 4k miles. Took it to the dealer and of course they "could not replicate the problem". I'm just going to deal with it until it gets really bad. Then I'll replace the damn brakes myself with better quality stuff for probably around $400. I would miss out that much on work just sitting in the dealership every few months for them to replace them. Will actually probably be cheaper in the long run...
  19. Well that's because it's autozone brand brake pads. If you want the good quality Hawk or EBC pads it's going to cost you about $100-120 for all 4 corners. You can get whatever brand you want...but I sure wouldn't go with Ebay generic no-name brakes.
  20. I would be concerned since they aren't name brand or anything. Probably not much better quality than the oem ones. I good set of brakes for all 4 corners should cost you closer to $400 (about $100 for good ceramic pads front/rear) and (about $300 for all 4 rotors). You'll probably be back to square one if you get cheap brakes on ebay. Stick to name brands like Powerslot, Wagner, Hawk, EBC, etc.
  21. Same here, been to the drive in twice this year and have to keep turning it back on to ACC every 30 minutes. It's good to not kill the battery but sucks when you're trying to watch a movie!
  22. I'm sure it'll just be a programming gauge fix. It would cost a lot more to outfit a new gas filler neck on every vehicle to allow more fuel to get in. So we'll all see full on the gauge with only 18-19 gallons in the tank I'm sure. Just my guess....
