  1. Congrats on the purchase! The Journey is a great vehicle! Welcome to the forum as well - Lots of great people, information and help on here!
  2. drb: Not sure if this was the same update that TheHing had done, but when I had mine in for service the other day, they performed RRT 11-069, which from what I understand from DodgeCares is for Long Crank Time... However, on my work, they did flash the PCM, and performed a quicklearn.
  3. Not only is the 8.4 missing, but the reverse camera is also not an option right now (which is probably related to the 8.4 not being available).
  4. That's the best part - customizing it to YOUR liking
  5. If all the rotors have been replaced, and the tires were balanced, the only logical thing left is possibly the brake pads? If the issue is still occurring though after the dealer replaced the rotors, keep on them to fix the issue!
  6. From what I have noticed reading through other threads on here, if the model didn't come with Sirius, it means the actual hardware is probably missing and would probably need a hardware upgrade (or new 4.3 that has Sirius). Chris (DodgeCares) should be able to confirm though.
  7. Chris - Thanks for your help with this and raising the issue on the Chrysler end. I understand that mistakes can happen, and while this one was a large mistake that affected numerous customers, the most frustrating thing has been that we haven't been able to get any answers, and there isn't any kind of solution that has been available yet to get BT. I appreciate that you are advocating for us, and will post back with any information that you have available!!
  8. Wow - Definitely a long process to get everythign working - But glad that it's finally working... You should probably post the part number that your dealer was finally able to find as I believe there are others that had the same issue as you trying to get a harness.. I know the part number i provided didn't work for the dealers down there
  9. I believe any of the 19 inch tires that will fit on the Journey are around 270+ on 1010tires... Hopefully by the time next spring/summer rolls around there will be more/cheaper options available.
  10. Yep, I went for the altimax arctics because they were rated highly everywhere I saw. I am guessing you meant that they didn't have your size in stock at the time? I was lucky that they did have stock for mine. Glad that you were able to take care of the 1010tires free shipping promo as well!! There are a few options for Rims which you are probably aware of. junkyards might have some that you can find. if you're looking new, Fountain Tire was where I bought mine, and they were the cheapest place I could find locally, but ended up costing me about $77 per rim.
  11. Do you mean the little plastic adapter that the 4 pin plug sits into? Mine had to be ordered from the factory and it took around 7-10 days.
  12. I could be wrong, but I would guess the body of the Journey is molded to accommodate the footrest. As for the stickers, I imagine that bumper solvent would work though I haven't tried this myself.
  13. There was no cost when I got it flashed to get the plug enabled. Hope this helps.
  14. While I was at the dealership today, I noticed something about the 2012s that I didn't notice previously - the antenna masts have changed. They are shorter on the 2012s compared to the 2011s and are all plastic. I am not sure if it will be a direct swap, but it might be an option for getting a shorter one do it doesn't break off in a parkade as some have previously reported happening.
  15. I'm still waiting for a BT option as well. I've been in contact with my dealer, and he hasn't heard of any options yet either unfortunately.
  16. Pretty fair assessment. I know there was a TSB that was released for some of the Bluetooth issues. Not sure if you have had that done already or not?
  17. 3 months? The OP only started the topic 11 days ago wondering on what size of brake pads/rotors to use so I would guess he's only had them for around a week or so.. Maybe less?
  18. Just wanted to give you all a heads up that starting on Friday Sept 23, General Altimax Arctic tires will be 25% off at Canadian Tire. For the base 16" model, each tire will be roughly $134.99. This is roughly the same price as 1010Tires right now, however if you get the tires at CT you get road hazard included in it.
  19. Welcome to the forum from another Canuck! Your Journey looks great!
  20. Dodge has been pretty good about releasing fixes for the 2011's as well. DodgeCares is a forum member here and has been super helpful about helping members and providing information, TSBs and fixes when they are released. Like Powdered Toast Man said, for the 2011's, Lemons are the exception and not the rule.
  21. Wow, that would definitely be a pretty awesome update! Will make it tons easier to start navigation when already in the vehicle (especially when in motion).
  22. Replied to your PM, but for others with same questions: Yes, the harness is the one with the 3 relays on it. As for the sales code, I don't have that, what was mentioned above was the only thing that was on my work order from the dealer ship when I took it in to get it activated. I am not sure if your dealer has access to that Star case or what it is (probably internal Dodge knowledge base), but I imagine that would tell the dealer how to activate.
  23. Welcome to the forum! Make sure you post pics once you get the mods done!!
  24. Hey There, That's correct. Once the 4 pin harness is hooked up, it needs to be flashed in order to actually enable them... Otherwise there is no power to the plug. According to my work order, this is what was done to resolve: "CHECKED AND CONFIRMED FOUND REALTED STAR CASE S1108000077, REQUIRING THE ADDITION OF A SALES CODE, ADDED AND RESTORED VEHICLE CONFIG. RECHECKED OPERATION WORKS GOOD NOW" Hopefully this helps! Let me know if you need any more information.
