  1. If any of you Canadian's have a fountain tire near you, I was able to get 16" rims from them for $76.95 a piece. I did test them out on the front and back for fitment, and they do fit. There isn't a heck of a lot of clearance between the caliper and the rim, but they definitely fit and turn freely. They are 40mm offset from what I read on the box they came in... Was the cheapest I could find in the city I am... Dodge wanted $125/rim, and Kaltire wanted $90/rim.
  2. Wow. I would have never really thought that different size tires would cause that to happen! What were the different sizes that were installed?
  3. Great job! Looks awesome. I see you painted the callipers as well.
  4. RIght - The GPS antenna would be the biggest thing you'd need. I would guess that the actual nav unit would include the maps and everything. I'm not sure if anyone has attempted to change a non nav to a nav system. Edit: Someone just posted a thread that they are coming:
  5. It's a good way to 'flag' a song to remember or download later. I only have a couple songs on favourite.
  6. An air sound? Is it coming from the inside? or outside? Depending on how hard you are pressing the brake pedal, you will hear an air type sound... might be from the booster? I could be way off though.
  7. Were the brakes wet when your wife was driving it? or drive through a puddle or something? I know wet brakes will squeak a bit until they dry?
  8. Your Journey won't have the actual GPS hardware to make it work I don't believe.

    Greetings!

    Welcome! It's a great vehicle!
  10. The other one is for the blue lights in each door that illuminate the storage things in the door.
  11. Actually, as a matter of fact, I just had a small dent in the rear door fixed by a PDR person last weekend. They were quick, and I can't even tell where it was. It cost me about $90 or so to have completed. One thing - I am not sure how they will fix the one in the roof, for the one in the door, they used a hook type took to go into the door where the window is, and then pushed it out from the inside... I am not sure how they would do it via the roof... Doesn't hurt to give them a shot though. Looking at your dent, it may be more difficult due to it going across the factory crease in the roof thingy. (Not sure what to call that). btw.. That's one hell of a dent! You weren't kidding when you said hailstones the size of baseballs!! If you end up going the PDR route, post back on how they removed the dent, and the type of job they did.
  12. Agreed - I think the honeycomb looks much better.
  13. That's what I was thinking. When looking at each of these separately, the Kit is with a metal valve, etc, and the sensor is with a rubber stem. Looking at my Journey, my valve stems are all rubber. EDIT: So it appears they changed which model they used at some point... I called 3 different Dodge dealerships. 1 of them gave me the part number of 68078768AA... The other 2 asked for the last 8 of my VIN, and gave me 56029398AA/AB. Probably an easy way to see which one you have is to check the valve stem. If they are rubber, it should be the 56029398AA/AB
  14. Well that's interesting... If you happen to find out where it is, or if it came from yours, let me know... I know the manual makes reference to a fusebox, however, I was never able to find out anywhere... Not even hidden behind the glovebox.
  15. If it's the same engine as the 2011's, it will only be 3500 with the tow prep package.
  16. For any of you that have purchased additional ones, or had to replace one... What is the actual part number... I have been able to find 2 possible parts, and I can't find out which one is the correct one. The ones I have been able to find are: 68078768AA and 56029398AA Any help would be appreciated on which of these are correct.
  17. So while I was browsing around, I found some links! These are the PDFs that include all part numbers and breakouts for every part of the Journey! Enjoy! brwengel was able to find the 09 version, and I have the 2010, and 2011 versions: 2009 - http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD5/Catalogs/06-09/09jc.PDF 2010 - http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD5/Catalogs/06-09/10jc.PDF 2011 - http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD5/Catalogs/06-09/11jc.PDF
  18. I noticed as well - I was trying to think of a way to comment on it without coming across as a complete ass! haha
  19. Whoops. I stand corrected - Thanks Dre My memory isn't a good as it used to be.
  20. I am guessing different vehicles had a keyhole under the start button or something because when it happened to me, the dealer advised me to pry off the start button as well. I started to, but was worried about breaking it so I stopped... Another user received the same advice, and when he pried off the button, it broke, and there was no keyhole underneath it.
  21. The Mopar ones only go to the edge of the hood unfortunately. I Believe there are aftermarket ones you can use that go across the fender as well.
  22. From what I understand, there isn't one... There is just the main fusebox under the hood.
  23. Your best bet would be to email coastal tech customer support for an ETA.
  24. ROFL! I like the blackberry colour! It was my second choice after black!
  25. I would guess that is the towing specs without the trailer tow prep package... I believe the 2011's are also 2500 max for the 3.6 without the tailer tow.
