  1. I think this is the second instance I have read about this. I have never experienced this issue myself, so I don't know what the resolution is.
  2. ha yeah I noticed that as well. Assumed that it was some kind of rock protection or something.
  3. I am guessing that you have read some of the threads that are in this section that deal with this very issue. From what a few people have said, Chrylser is in fact recommending the 235/55/19's to owners needing to replace the stock ties. Here is what one user had to say about the 235/55/19s he put on: In fact, after re-reading that thread, there are a few users that are using the 235's already and have posted their initial thoughts. Give that thread a read though.
  4. SWeet, when this thread was originally posted, there was no video for it on their website! Just checked it out... THe installation looks easier than I thought... You don't even have to touch the screen at all. The radio unit is a double DIN unit that sits directly behind the HVAC controls. Looks like it is a pretty easy installation. Here is the direct link to the video: http://www.coastaletech.com/media/C8%20JOURNEY%20INSTALL.zip EDit: I noticed there are 2 models of this for the 2011 Journey. THe C8. and the C8R... The C8 is $249, while the C8R is $209... The only difference is that the C8 doesn't provide additional audio/video inputs... So for anyone just getting it for unlocking the DVD player/text entry in Nav, save the extra $40 and get the C8R. http://www.coastaletech.com/LOCKPICKC8R.htm
  5. There are currently no updates for either the 4.3 or the 8.4 uConnect systems.
  6. Yep, that is one of the casualties as a result of the Japan earthquakes/tsunami's... The other is 8.4 screens, paint colour choices.
  7. drb227 - That's the issue I am wondering I will have as well when I get my oil change done... I am hoping they are able to find the update or have an idea of what I'm talking about... I live in a relatively smaller city, so I am not sure how many people would actually complain to the dealer about it... Time will tell.
  8. That would be a great feature, but all in all, I can't really complain with the amount of stuff the 11's come with compared to the price paid. It's pretty well loaded.
  9. I don't think they are going to deny there is an issue if in fact it is proven to be an issue... As already mentioned, a TSB would be created if it was determined to be a widespread issue.
  10. Interesting in the album art thing... CAn anyone else confirm that this update seems to resolve that as well? I believe drb227 is going to be getting the update done when he gets the oil changed so he should be able to post back as well.
  11. Was the dealer ever able to give you the part number Ta22oo?
  12. There are a few of us that have had this issue... Greer was one, and I had it myself. For me personally, it has only happened to me once, but I couldn't figure out what drained the battery.. Everything was off. There was still power to the Journey as everythign worked except just not enough juice to start it.
  13. The only place I'm aware of to find information is garmin.com/chrysler but there are no updates or anything available.
  14. Ahh - Thanks for pointing that out drb227... Was wondering where they were hiding that!
  15. I noticed this as well on mine... I had actual chrome rims on my 03 Neon, and I wasn't really that impressed... They started getting pitted where the tire meets the rim and as a result, I had to buy new rims since they couldn't fix it.
  16. HOpefully they will figure out the problem once and for all for you!
  17. Oh wow. I would have assume it was just a USB post or something in the glovebox. The only thing I can really think of trying is to make sure that the connector on both the iPod sides, and especially the cable side don't have any dirt/debris stuck in there... That will cause the Accessory not supported message. I have seen this with the apple sync cables when there is dirt, or also when the connector itself has wires inside that are damaged somehow. The only other suggestion I would have is to try and exchange the cable and see if the new one work.
  18. Just wanted to post back with an update.. This still has not yet happened to me again... Oddly enough, same as you jjm001, my dead battery occurred about a week after I bought it. Fingers crossed that they can finally figure out what is going on with yours. Not sure how feasible or possible, but with the number of times it is happening for you, if you have a cell phone/camera that takes video, take a video of when it is occurring showing you are seeing - especially the latest time with the different languages/temp readings... At least to show them some evidence that this is continuing to happen.
  19. Awesome Thanks Ta2200... Many of us will be awaiting your reply
  20. My first thought if it doesn't work with any type of apple product is that it might be the cable... I am not familiar with the hookup of the 2010... Is this a USB plug in the glovebox? Are you able to just plug the regular USB sync cable into it directly without using the adapter cable?
  21. Never thought about using a swiffer... Good idea! I have been using the armor all wipes, just the regular stuff, not the high gloss or anything like that.
