  1. I'm so immature... I saw 'Premature introduction' and laughed.
  2. Ditto what drb227 said. I've done the same thing. For steeper hills, if left in auto, it will finally downshift to 5th after it drops about 4-5km, then when it drops another 4-5km will downshift to 4th... Manual is the best way to go for hills.

Yep, the problem is all the dealers assumed the same - poor naming from Dodge on that... The only option is the Mopar bluetooth kit... Someone on here was saying that according to the dealer/factory, if it doesn't come with the uConnect/Bluetooth, it can't be added to be integrated into the 8.4n.
  4. I believe the flashlight only comes on the R/T? Edit, Apparently I can't read. For some reason I thought drb227 said it didn't come in his crew.
  5. That is odd. I know that when you first plug your iPhone/iPod in, it takes an unusually long amount of time to index the songs (especially if you have 7000 songs!). I have about 500 songs on mine and it takes about 10 minutes before the browse button is responsive. After that, it is always available... Until I add or remove songs from my iPhone... Then it has to go through its indexing process again.
  6. DJ11, definitely post back with what they say. It's been widely reported that there currently is no way to select a playlist. You can only select Artist/Album/Song. I have noticed the issue that they song will play from the beginning as well, and if you're on shuffle, it will revert back to the beginning and replay the songs in the exact same order.
  7. I was aware of the movies one, but I didn't know about the GPS one until just the other day. Was driving around and my buddy was trying to put in an address and the address button was greyed out... I thought something broke, or it couldn't get a signal or something... Pulled over to take a look, then when I stopped it let me adjust. Hopefully there will be some kind of a workaround. It would have been nice if it went based off a sensor in the passenger seat or something and detected that maybe there is someone else trying to do it. lol
  8. Just took a look. THey do offer shipping to Canada it appears... $120 for FedEx Ground (Death by Brokerage fees). The cheapest express option is $360.
  9. My guess is it is a typo... As I believe the part is the same from 08-11.
  10. I've seen a few mentions of the aftermarket Mopar Bluetooth setup that some people are getting in lieu of the uconnect BT that was missing. For anyone that has this set up, how does it work with the journey? I know it isn't integrated with the 8.4n that I'm aware of, but where do they put the buttons, etc. Do you have to be on a certain FM station for it to work? If anyone has pictures of this setup in their Journey, can you post a pic?
  11. Scooby - Depending on the paint/uconnect options you chose, that could be a factor. From what I understand, they ran out of the black paint/touchscreens as a result of the earthquakes in japan...
  12. You can bet when/if they finally do release the uConnect BT/VC kit, it will cost more than $300...
  13. Looks great! Is tinting the front driver window legal there? I'd get bent over by the police if I tried that here... (BC, Canada)
  14. I am a bit curious why there wouldn't be a way they can add it after the fact? I can't imagine that there are 2 different 8.4 touchscreen models... One with VC/BT, and one without? I would think it would be a software update, or something (along with adding the wiring, etc..) I could be wrong, and am hoping that there will be a way to add it afterwards.
  15. The first tank of gas averaged about 13... The second was 14... Mixture of City and Highway... Took it for a trip this last week, and there and back (about 1200km total) I averaged about 10 which isn't bad considering it's a bit hilly. From what I understand, the economy should get a bit better as the engine gets broken in more. drb227 I think is averaging around 13-14 according to Fuelly (more accurate than the EVIC which appears to be showing a better economy then it actually is by 0.6 L/100km)
  16. Yeah, kind of a poor mistake on their part... There are a lot of owners (myself included) that are now waiting for Dodge to release the kit to get the actual UConnect with BT and VC...
  17. I think I read on here that using the e85 will cut your mileage by about 1/3. So unless the price is at least that much cheaper, it isn't really worth it. I don't recall seeing any posts about performance gains though.
  18. I am curious about the bluetooth option as well... Let me know how it works... Mine (Canadian R/T) was 'missing' the VC and BT as well so I am waiting for the kit to come out for it...
  19. Never thought about using the Magic Eraser... That's a great idea!
  20. Interesting, I wonder why it's doing it to me. Oh well, not a huge problem really. Hopefully when I get the update to fix the EVIC defaulting to MPH it will take care of that.
  21. For some reason I swear I saw that as an option somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find it.
