OK, that makes more sense to me. 11.92 as an average is still quite good. I'm at around 12.5 and i do a lot of in town driving. The stop and go really kills the mileage!!

Sorry but you were not clear about that at all. Why would you quote a figure that nobody uses? What is your average in L/100 KM?

Bigtsr, In a post above you said you were averaging 8.6 but this calculation shows 10.693, which seems closer to reality to me. How did you come up with the 8.6 figure? I understand that the 10.693 is only one tank and not the average but this just seems to be more indicative of what your true average would be, not the 8.6.

How can you have only 8.6 with 95% city driving? If it was 95% highway driving, sure. If I'm really really careful with the gas pedal, I can get in the 10's on a tank of mostly city driving but even that is rare. I'm usually around the mid-12s. Highway is a different story. I've gotten as low as 7.8 on a tank of all highway driving with the cruise set at 110 and only me in the vehicle. I'm really curious about this because it just doesn't seem possible.

I've mentioned in other threads that my 2011 Crew has had the front rotors replaced twice and front pads once. I'm just over 30000 kms.

I'm very interested in this. I have the Alpine system in my 2011 Crew. Where did you actually order this from and what was the cost? Any option to upgrade the subwoofer as well?

Are you able to stream audio from the songs on your iPhone? If that works, then the issue is likely with Pandora or iheartradio not allowing to stream through the dock connector? Maybe they only play through the headphone port?

The EVIC NAV info is only meant to show up when you are nearing the next turn to alert you to the fact that a turn is coming up, even though the voice guidance will also alert you at the same time. For me, it is way more than 5 seconds before the next turn and it works just fine. As far as I know, this can only be turned on or off.

I recently noticed that there is very little room between the top of the front tire and part of the strut that sits directly above it. Just curious if everyone else's 2011/2012 is like this? I have the 19" tires.

Dealer won't be able to do anything. It's just a disappointingly shitty system. I had the MusicGate system in my 2007 Caliber and it was so much better than the Alphine system in my 2011 Crew.

I'm sure there are some dealers out there who can be helpful. Just because you've had issues with them, doesn't mean everyone will.

No, USB and SD is audio only. Only way to play video is with an actual DVD.

Psyke, I too traded in my Caliber (a leased 07 SXT that was totally problem free) for my 2011 Crew and couldn't be happier. I agree with all your likes. Fuel econ - yup, it's a big V6. I usually get around 12-13 in town and have gotten as low as 7.8 on the highway. Slow downshifting - More manufacturers are doing this now - just have to read auto review sites to see that. Supposed to help fuel economy but I totally agree - needs to be quicker to downshift. I have no issue with the visibility or the steering wheel controls. The 19" tire issue is just stupid on Chrysler's part. Why make a tire that only 1 manufacture makes and it's a shitty tire to begin with. I find they are not very smooth at all and can't wait to change them. I'm going to get the 235/55R19 Toyo Versado soon. Sound system is probably my biggest disappointment. I too had the Music Gate sound system in my Caliber and that totally blows the system in the Journey out of the water. There is NO comparison! I use the parking brake every day and have never accidentally popped the hood. I'll add 1 item to your "like to have" - a power hatch!
