  1. This is not too difficult, just find a good muffler shop. Many Avenger owners did the same, removal of the last muffler and replaced by a "sporty" sound.
  2. The flasher is controlled by the TPCM unit. There is no relais in this car.
  3. We have 5x127 the Magnum has 5x115. Steel wheels are on tirerack with snowtires around $700 incl. shipping (excl. tpms).
  4. Got an offer today from the dealer, 4 steel rims 16" excl. tpms, and wintertires for $740 excl. tax and install.
  5. Be happy that you have the 3.5 and not the 2.4. The Journey is a heavy car and the 235 HP is enough to drive in today traffic. I am also not totally happy with the set up, but I did not buy it for the Hemi feeling.
  6. Looks like you need to remove the bezel around the door frame completely. Could not see if you first need to remove the door panel as well. Did you consider to paint the mirrors with plasti dip?, black on red is not bad. I would also ask your dealer on how this could have happened, I only see paint chipping of on old cars and on cars with bad primer / adhesive to the plastic. Try to get it replaced under warranty.
  7. What I did was downloading the installation instructions which I used to determinate the position of the sensors.
  8. If the turnsignal is dead, ie one bulb is broken you should have a hyperflash in the dash when turning it on.
  9. I just looked at my car and this does not work. The third window sill does not have an option to be replaced. Guess adding a chrome tape is the only option you have.
  10. Just wondering where you bought the remote sensors, hopefully not the >$200 from the dealer. I have installed a $15.00 set from ebay on my Avenger and works amazing.
  11. Congrats on the new ride. You should be able to install the Uconnect system with a microphone on the A-frame.
  12. I am the second owner and do have the 100.000 miles power train warranty (and I am happy to have it). Bumper to bumper is only 36.000 miles. Just see what the costs are, consider to buy the parts online, might be a lot less expensive,
  13. These are the part no.s' in Black. 05076874AB - Right front door 05076875AB - Left front door 05076876AB - Right rear door 05076877AB - Left rear door Would say call your dealer and ask for which car these are.
  14. Did you return the AutoXclusive bumper cover?
  15. Like your setup, had not seen it before on the 3.6. Main advantage is to have less radiation heat going into the engine.
  16. Would say visit the dealer ask for a discount and buy one. With him you can return it and you will not have shipping charges.
  17. All 2011 Avenger have a strut brace. Many owners of the 2008-2010 models are buying these since they improve handling a lot. The unit costs only $30 at the max and is made from steel. This does not fit on the Journey and is connected with two bolts and not to the firewall. The unit of the Caliber connects to the firewall. The Avenger strutbrace: This is the best performance / steering mod you can do on the Avenger. Cold airtake for the 3.6 Avenger pentastar is available, item no. 77070048 at a cost of $329 The catback for the Avenger is item no.: BK P5156013 at a cost of $1350
  18. Had it our last week, and also this week. Did not feel the same troubles but do feel shift chances in cold condition when changing gear specially from 1 to 2. Will keep it mind, and will keep the dealer informed. We have 100.000 miles warranty, I am OK with that.
  19. For the USA I suggest to go to tirerack, they offer steellies for $57 pce.
  20. Consider that if you take the privacy glass you can not look into the trunk anyway, so you do not need the cover.
  21. Well, hopefully it evaporates before it enters the airconditioning system.
  22. Depends on the model you have, just found this one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DODGE-JOURNEY-CARGO-COVER-PASTEL-PEBBLE-BEIGE-09-11-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a1311ef1bQQitemZ180708568859QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_1182 Great deal as long as you have a beige interior.
  23. Mine is fixed, got a new compounder in the gearbox and I guess it is better. Did not take it for a long journey jet, next week about 1000 miles, we will see what will happen.
