I emailed them, they expect a release by the end of this month or next. Price point hasnt been finalized by approximately $1999.. For that much you might as well upgrade to the 8.4N system and add a lock pick instead... Or just a lockpick, since it apperas they will work with the 4.3 systems. I told him this., no response yet. Anyone out there who would by it at that price?

I got a response and the guy said the current version of lockpick would work with the 4.3 unconnects because they are the same system as teh 8 inch , the only difference is screen size........????? he said just to choose between factory reverse camera or no camera.... What do you guys think?

I am thinking of adding chrome window sill trim to the bottom of the side windows. Anyone done this before? There are stick on kits available at ebay, etc... But I am also wondering if it is possible to get factory chrome sills, i think they come on the cherokee or one of the other Jeep models, and they seem to be the same part as the journey just chrome... I wonder if it can be ordered. Anyone know if it is in fact the same part?

I removed the Journey badge from the rear and the dodge from the grill. I ordered a RT badge for the grill. I was going to remove the dodge lettering from the rear too, but my wife says she likes it. I still think the rear would look alot cleaner without it. What do you guys think? Anyone have pictures of a debadged rear?

any word on the lockpick for 4.3" inch uconnect?

Hi, just got a new 2011 Journey R/T, first thing I want to do is remove some of the badges on the back and on the grill. Searched but nothing came up. Anyone know if they will just come off with dental floss and a blow dryer or are they screwed into the body panels? Thanks! Any other easy mods you guys recommend? Low profile antenna etc... Thanks!!!

Kind of related, I test drove a loaded R/T it said 6 speaker infinity sound on the sticker, ended up taking an identicle (on paper) journey at a different dealer cause I wanted a different color. The first journey had funky tweeters above the dash on the pillar that said infinity right on them and the sound was crazy. The second journey didnt have the tweeter above the dash on the pillar, it had a plane looking one that simply said alpine and the sound was still really good, but not quite the same as the first one I drove... Both were listed with the same sound system and the dealer had no idea what I was talking about... Anyone have any idea about this????
