  1. I am wondering if you have the 3.5 ltr (outlet diameter 3"). The 2.4 ltr has only, I believe, an inlet of 2 1/4" I always say: Better expensive then not available.
  2. Just go to your dealer and order 82212400, just slide them on, bolt them and ready: 10 minutes work, that is all! - they are costly : $ 77.00 per pceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ouch, but great looks.
  3. Looks good, and color matches nice with the Alu wheels. you need to get your selves now a nice set of exhaust tips to finish it all!
  4. Why do you not buy some cheap steel wheels (16 or 17") with covers? 4 wheels and covers is max $200, 4 tires $ 120 per pce and a set of TPMS sensors (used - $ 75) is saving some good money : $750 ex GST. I did this for my Avenger and no problems at all.
  5. I installed mine and was very easy, took me less then a minute. I first read the "how to" several times (which took me 15 minutes), then went to the car and like I said very easy.
  6. AI bought the pipes today and installed them (10 minutes), they look fantastic. Problem with the ones from Ebay is the length of the tip, You only need 6" long units, and not the regular 10-12, which are in many case bolt on units. I will post some pictures during the weekend.
  7. The dealer might be able to switch it off of no TPMS is installed. Will cost you some money, a new set of TPMS (ebay - has good offers) might cost you around $ 75.00. I have an Avenger with wintertires and run them without TMPS, have the EVIC, and hear a chime when staring and every 15 miles or so.
  8. You need a 3" inlet on the tip, the Avenger 3.5 has the same (but 2 pcs) as on the 2.4 ltr Journey (82208095AB). The one from the new Jeep Cherokee item 82212400 will fit.
  9. I bought the slush mats incl trunk and the mud flaps. Went to the local dealer with the prints from ebay pricing. They matched it, just need to pay the tax but no shipping charges. Good thing: they had it on stock. Installed everything which was very easy. Not completely satisfied on the flaps on the back, since bumper curving and flapcurves are not the same to the insider, which requires a thin washer to make it perfect. Best way for installing on the back is to remove your wheel.
  10. I like this mod a lot and strongly considering to buy it, the $140 might be a lot of money, but it works and protects.
  11. I bought the mopar set yesterday. Will make some pictures once installed. I only have two rows.
  12. Very nice car, interior does look finished, or maybe put some leather on the child seat. Exterior is always nice to work on. I bought the mud flaps today, the slush mats for the inside and trunk and just looking for an exhaust tip. For the 2.4 easy to get at the local dealer but the 3.5 needs some 3" inlet diameter, which is the same as for the charger but also not availble at the dealer. I have the 19" and comfort is still good, I gues that with 20" you would still be OK. Mine is black so any plastic does still look "like" painted from a distance. Good luck with the mods, hope to see some more pictures.
  13. You can get the shark vin from VG. Works very good. With regards to the washing is that i noticed that when drying the roof makes some good noice, thin sheet metal and wind. I have my Journey only two weeks and want to give it a good wax, specially on the roof, but you need a ladder to get it done. Will work on that during the weekend.
  14. I bought a used 2010 17000 miles 3.5 AWD SXT with Nav, 19" wheels and backup camera for 20.900 ex t&tl. New Journey's are offered with fgreat rebates $4/5000 since a new model will come at the end of year. I am sure with a new style interior gauges, might look like the new Caliber.

    2010 AWD V6

Hello All, My name is Germax and the owner since 12 days of a 2010 SXT AWD. Bought with 17000 miles and like it a lot. Did not have a lot of pleasure yet. When picked up the TPMS light was burning, sales person added some air, but, YEP, the next day it was burning again. Two tires where leaking air, dealer agreed to replace frre of charge. Other problem was a rather strange noice when turning to the right, we considered the drive axle, but after returning the car to the dealer for the tires they found out that it is the engine mount. A little search here on the forum shows that this is happening with more cars then just mine. This is under warranty. Did I loose my fait in Dodge, NO, it is fixed so that is good. Here a small picture. Do I miss something? Yes, only the climate control, but it has the navigation, the 19" wheels, back up camera, trunk cover. This is not my first Dodge, we bought an Avenger for my wife in October and this one is running very well, a 2.7 V6 also SXT but with the convenience package. We did spent some money on it for new wheels, spoiler, Uconnect, heated mirrors, wintertires + wheels + covers, the slush mats, also for the trunk, and some more things. This is more a fun car, and good for the weekend to work on. They are both black, and look nice in front of the garage:
