  1. Well, now in NY you will fail inspection with tinted windows. The inspector uses a tool to measure the tint on drivers and passenger doors. If you are darker than factory you fail.
  2. A K&N is a great filter. It is less restricting and will possibly increase MPG's. I have one on each of three cars and my Harley. Once you have the cleaner and oil it is effortless to clean and can last 50,000 miles between cleaning.
  3. Looking good, I had the front tint done and added tint to the rears to make them black. Now all match real nice.
  4. There is a problem with the rotor material on the Journeys. The rotors are prone to warping. Cheap steel is usually the reason. I have 20,000 and when the brakes get hot they pulsate. Usually happens on the highway with 70 MPH speeds in traffic. I changed my 13" front rotors and pads out with EBC rotors and pads. My original pads had about 5/16 material left and wore real nice and even but I hated the pulsing. The EBC can be found on sale and are a step up from OEM and Sure Stop. Just my .02.
  5. My shop did the fronts but they were darker than the factory tint so I had them do the rear side doors and rear sides with 2%. Nice looking match.
  6. I had the Dealer price a backup camera at $800.00 including labor. Ha, I will never give this dealership a dime ever again.
  7. I have a 2016 Journey just turned 20,000 and the rotors are warped. Dealer admits the junk Jap steel used for the rotors and I should replace them. Not paying a dealer to put the same junk on again. Going with EBC's.
  8. The net was on the floor when the salesman showed me the car and grabbed it and put in his pocket. Had no idea till later it wes included. Just one more thing the sneaky Norwalk, CT Dodge dealer pulled. Now service is bending me over on warranty work.
  9. The second row is small but the third row is tiny. Just for kids. I keep my third row down since new and cover the nice storage space with a Weatherguard cargo mat.
  10. You may be able to do it yourself. Check around U tube.
  11. I just got a quote for $800.00 at the Norwalk, CT dealer where I bought the car for my 2016 crossroads. Stroking me big time.
  12. Get a seat belt extension and put into the side by the console.
  13. The K&N is for the Journey is $59.00 and lasts a lifetime. I put one in almost every car I owned. It improves MPG slightly breathes better for longer and the cleaning once a year or two depending on conditions is easy. I also use them on my Harleys.
  14. I had the same complaint and the service advisor acknowledged it as common. He said they adjust the rear door latch a hair inward to tighten the door seal.
  15. I do my oil changes using Mobil 1 and use the OEM filters I buy for around $24.00 a 3 pack.
  16. My factory radio sounds pretty good. It sounds like there is a sub. Where is the sub located in the car if there was one. I have a 2016 Crossroads.

    hood latch

All I have to do is bump the hood latch and the hood pops. I have an appt with the dealer for service on this. Service said I am not the first to complain.

    Cracking leather

I have 3000 miles now and the wrinkles in my seats are getting worse. I buy a new car every four years and have for 30+ years and this is by far the biggest piece of crap I ever bought. No not just because of the seats.
  20. My 2016 DJ Crossroads making noise especially when cold out. Under 45 degrees it howls. I have 2600 miles. Wish the TSB reached into 2016.
  21. I personally believe that because most all auto paint surfaces are clear coated you would be fine. Turtle would not sell you a product without a disclaimer if they didn't know how it would react with auto finishes.
