  1. I was trying to decide what phone holder to try but realized the iPhone 5s fits in the pocket to the rear of the arm rest. Same on the passenger side.
  2. No one is fully informed with the Mopar vehicles. Not the repair people or the sales people. There was an access built in the trunk for the fuel tank in the Sebring. If the fuel pump went bad it could be replaced without dropping the tank. How did I find out? Dropped the tank and there it was. The dealer service department I have to deal with is sad.

  4. I'm talking a cold engine not cold outside. Does it in 50 degree weather. Not being caused by driving or moving the car. The noise is at idle. Engine runs real quiet after that.
  5. I hear you and thanks. I can't however force a repair without a tsbs including 2016 in it. Sucks I only have 1500 miles on it. I also have a leather seat cracking problem,
  6. I have a whine when I start my DJ when engine is cold. It's a 16 DJ Crossroads with the six cylinder engine. The noise fades away after it gets warm. Seems like its a bearing on one of the pulley's driven by the belt. Anyone else have the same problem. Thanks, John
  7. Our last vehicle we owned was a 2005 T&C. Did love the power sliding doors and the power lift gate. Owning a DJ sure is cooler but the van had a lot of interior room especially with the stow away seating.
  8. DHH3, your 2014 is the car you did the brake flasher on I guess? Was the third brake light LED and did it have a two wire male clip with two thin wires one white / green and one black. I have three inches of wire to work with at the body hole for the light. Planned on prying off the trim above the tailgate inside for the wiring but wanted to get it straight first. I have one chance to make it right as the splices need to be installed and the power needs to be correct to feed the brake blinker control. Then the hot needs to be cut between the splices. The installation is simple but I want to be sure so i'm not out in the garage soldering a mistake back together on a car with 1000 miles on it. I do appreciate your help. I work on buildings and have owned and built Harley's and hotrods since I was 16 but auto wiring in new cars is new to me. Thanks
  9. I pulled the third brake light on my 2016 DJ. Neither wire feeding the light tests out to ground at 12v so I don't know which is hot. Funny thing is there is a reading between the two wires feeding the light of 21. Thought my tester was good. One wire is Blue/black and the other green/white. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  10. I ride a front suspension MB. Helps with my back after riding for years on a rigid Harley.
  11. When I buy a quality item I buy it from the manufacture or a company I have brought from before. The Weathertech mat I bought for my DJ came from Weathertech. I wanted the proper fit for my year and not one of the Amazon dealers would confirm it fit my car exactly. It cost $127 inc. shipping same as most. Both Thule and Yakima car racks say locks are not included but if you want them they sell them. Don't buy something expecting anything unless you have gone and investigated the purchase. I bought my latest rack at EMS on sale including a six pack of keyed alike locks. Nothing wrong with saving money but when it doesn't work out suck it up.
  12. The Thule setup is a sweet setup. The Thule Crossroad mount connects securely to most factory side rails. I have also owned an equal amount of Yakima racks and equipment mounts and they are great as well but I favor the Thule on a vehicle with factory rails. The only thing I will add is if you want to lock your mounts and rails or your sports equipment you need to buy locks with either Thule or Yakima brands. One topic on this forum the people were upset that locks weren't included. There was never a mention of getting free locks anyway. I am tired of quality products getting bad ratings because someone didn't read what was included and expected things they weren't promised.
  13. I totally think the importance of a CIA in most applications is a visual thing. Now a days engineers know the importance of a free flowing intake and exhaust for power and economy. I have put K&N filters in all my cars, trucks and Harley's for the last 25 years. I really don't know if I realize more power or MPG but its cheaper to run one and clean it annually compared to purchasing a new one yearly. I have had hot rod cars and Harley's with all types of intake systems but think you are throwing money at nothing putting $350.00 into a CIA for a simple family SUV. Spend the money on bigger brakes or something that keeps your family safer.
  14. In CT and NY there are so many drivers that exceed speed limits by 20+ mph going 10 mph over is easy to not have a problem. The police watch for the highest overspeed drivers. No need for a detector. The town I live in the main road into town is bottlenecked down on both ends so its clear you don't speed in town. My friend is Town Supervisor and told me about one driver that was ticketed for 60 in a 30 and was so pissed he was stopped at 60 on the return trip through town the opposite direction. With idiots like that there are so many speeders we don't have to worry for a few miles over.
  15. I know it's a matter of budget and how much you need protecting your cargo area and carpet but I just received Fedex a Weathertech cargo mat for my 2016 Journey. It was delivered for $127 including shipping. Yes it was more than the Dodge liner but the quality and fit support my decision to purchase. I am happy I made the choice.
  16. That sucks, the heated seats and wheel are nice features. So far I like my DJ. I think the front end is noisy over bumps.
  17. The Homelink was listed on the window sticker. The auto headlights were a feature listed on the Dodge website that stated the 7 differences between a crossroads and a crossroads plus. I printed both out and all I need to do Is be the squeak that doesn't go away and I will get them.
  18. I did my DJ front windows in 20% and added another layer of tint on the rears to match the fronts. The car looks great. I have another black car with the windows 20% and a blacked out Harley. Guess I like the look. My daughter wants to repaint my DJ in matt black. I just bought a cargo mat from WeatherTech and will put my review up soon.
  19. I just bought an Ariens snowblower locally for $1049.00 delivered. The amazon price was $1149.00. I do buy a lot from amazon and in most cases you are right.
