bkregan Posted October 16, 2015 Report Share Posted October 16, 2015 Hi, my 2014 R/T gives a horrible clunk when stuck in traffic going from 1st to 2nd or down from 2 to 1. I asked the mechanic and he said they like to be under load and use the manual shift to hold the gear as the clunk is it not truely ready for that gear. Eric Roland Posted October 26, 2015 Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 Mine does this too. It also does a kind of short repetitive clunks when accelerating from stop into a turn. Like at a stop sign turning. I have an appointment with dealer, because it actually is quite annoying. The clunk seems to be happening more often than not. I've talked to the dealer and they investigated, but they haven't shared their findings. mseibel Posted December 17, 2015 Report Share Posted December 17, 2015 My other transmission complaint is a shudder in reverse and on the 1-2 upshift when it's cold out.
