Battery Died, now it won't start?

My car is a 2019 Dodge Journey SE 4cyl, the vehicle was driving fine and then parked after a short drive. 3-4 hours later I got back into the car, it wouldn't start, the battery appears to have died so we replaced it, it still won't start but now got the following codes:

 

P0016 - Crankshaft/Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)

P000B - Exhaust Camshaft Position Slow Response (Bank 1)

P0562 - System Voltage Low

 

After replacing the battery: We deleted the codes, but they immediately come back and the vehicle still won't start. 

-Oil level is good

-Wires and connections seem good

-Gas in the vehicle

 

Any suggestions?

Could you be a little more specific? Does the starter motor spin the engine but NOT have the ENGINE "fire up" OR does not even crank over the starter motor?

have you made sure the connections are tight on the battery....

Here is a video, it appears that the start motor is spinning and there is crank, i can feel the engine trying to start... but it doesn't.

Yes, the connections are good. Definitely getting power to the vehicle.

make sure who ever replaced the battery didn't damaged the connecter with the battery temp sensor is connected and tight, cant remember if its the POS or negative cable if it goes bad or not connected your journey wont start,,,since it happened right after the battery was replaced,,then something happened during the install or right after.......I would recheck both counters on the battery and would even go as far to have the battery checked to MAKE sure it is good as well esp the ground or neg connection

Could be a coincidence that cps died at the same time battery did. If car has more than 100k on it, I would buy an oem cranks sensor and swap it out, there is a code for it.  Inspect wires going to sensor for visible damage. Engine won't start without good crank position sensor signal.

 

Can't easily trouble shoot the $30 ish easy to change sensor. It's not parts canon if you have a constant code. Use mopar or NTK who make the mopar part, rumour has it.

Thank you very much, I ordered the parts from RockAuto and will replace it.

 

Any idea on why the system low voltage code is still popping up? The new battery was checked prior to installing, and is good. Would that prevent the car from starting as well?

I'll double check it, but is there a way to test it? How do I know if its bad? The car is still getting power every where else.

Well, I watched your video numerous times AND rechecked your previous postings.

    What did you ever do about the cooling system trouble of past?

How many miles on the car NOW and have you ever changed the Spark plugs?

NOW too your video....

There is definitely NO BATTERY ISSUE here .

The way the motor is spinning is suggesting to me that there are motor issues going on and WHY I posted about MILES on the car AND SPARK PLUGS.

I agree about changing the crank sensor, as this sensor WILL prevent engine from running while cam sensors will .

So the previous cooling issue was a HUGE pain the ass, I ended up replacing the fan which worked but still had the issue of HIGH not kicking on when needed, so I replaced the radiator fan resistor which seemed to solve that issue. There was also a little bit of sludge in the radiator, which I'm going to assume is from oil shops using different coolant, but I drained it and use MOPAR coolant now and it seems to be running smooth. Sadly I think all these coolant issues started happening at once and made it difficult to pinpoint what exactly was going on. I am planning on replacing the radiator after getting this issue sorted. 

 

The car has 95K miles on it, and yes the spark plugs have been replaced. I'll check my log to see when I last did it when I get home but I try to stay on schedule. I just received the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensors yesterday. So I will be replacing the crankshaft position sensor this weekend.

 

Any tips and or suggestions is appreciated.

Pull the plugs and COMPARE coloration pattern of the threaded end porcelains and electrodes to each of the others. This is an OLD SCHOOL way to check for an individual cylinder problem. PLugs are an EASY to do with the 4 cyl. motor.
