Ever heard of AutoShack?

Hi, I'm about to redo my whole front suspension on my 2016 SXT and I'd like your opinion on something.

My budget is limited and my two main options for the control arms are going with whole new lower control arm from AutoShack or keep my old ones and replace the bushings with Moog's.

Auto Shack seems to be a canadian parts store with very low price and mostly the complaints against it that I can find is about their costumer service. Otherwise their parts quality are mostly unknown to me, online reviews generally states that the parts was good.

Moog suspension parts brand are well known but cost more so I couldn't buy their whole assembly, only the bushings that I'd swap.

So, what do you guys think?

Pressing in bushings on control arms can be a pain. Do you have access to a large hydraulic press and have you ever used one before. Also need to repaint rusted control arms primer and top coat. Road salt eats up suspension parts.

I don’t work for Rockauto, but it is hard to beat their prices on a lot of parts. Moog included.

Large  time savings too. I have pressed bushings into a few control arms and sub frames before, can get awkward.  Even with a 50 ton press at work, I  had to get creative to not damage arm while installing bushings.

We are in the rust belt with these cars, spraying inside control arms with Rustcheck or Formula 3000 helps a bit.  But rusty suspension parts can come apart tying to replace worn bushings as well.

Keep an eye on front lower ball joints; Journeys have a tendency to go through them. Use joints with grease fittings if possible, last forever with a few shots of grease once a year.
