Can't lower passenger seat

I bought the dodge journey crossroad love it 2016. But I'm short and there's no lever to let down. It has the storage in the seat. Can you buy a new adjustable base for it and attach the seat,? Why would dodge do this? Can I buy another base for it?

The answer to person asking didn't I check it out before buying? is No I just assumed all seats lower. Doesn't make me stupid. I drove and tested in drivers seat and it was new. After 5 years I fractured my back and husband drive me. So now I can't hardly get out I'm short. Ok?

I can appreciate your predicament, I'm close to your age and have had 5 back surgeries, BUT am not a short person. I don't know that a passenger side power seat like the drivers was ever offered. But a shop could retrofit and change control switch sides for pass. side use bases. It is NOT a quick or cheap task to do such and probably more than you would want to spend.

Since you say you don't drive anymore, Can I suggest using a foot step placed on the ground by the door to assist your entry/exit of the vehicle and have your "Chauffer" Place it and store it in the car for you. I've had to do this when transporting my aged mother with my Town&Country minivan.
