  1. Hello....So what is the alternative then i.e. the "something else" mentione din your post? I concur with the HID concerns...you don't want all that to happen when you are in dire need of lights being on pronto

For my Hi Beams im using Sylivania Silverstar Bright white bulbs. They look like HID lights but there not. Im also gonna change my bottom fog lights to the same Silverstar Bright White so they will look the same as my HID lights.

  2. Still no flickering issues? I have a projector retrofit kit that I bought for my 2012 Avenger. Now that I gave that to the wife and bought this I'm thinking about putting it on the DJ. It's hard to find any consistent information on HID conversion on this site, but historically Dodge's newer vehicles are a pain in the ass to install these on because on the fluctuating voltage sent to the light to run "self check"... Are DJ's using this same "technology"? The kit I have put together has a capacitor on the relay to help regulate voltage and I have resistors I can install... Is this what everyone is using here? I'd like to get working on it soon now that spring is getting closer...

Nope still no flickering. I used the Kit which had the Bulbs and Ballasts. I also had to purchase the Resistors and Harness.

  3. Does any one know if there a kit to do all the interior lights? If so where can I get it?

There is no kit. You will need to purchase all of them seperate. I see that you have a 2010. Mine is 2010 also. I tried the regular LED's at first and they didnt work. I then tried the Cambus version and they worked great.

  4. It sounds to me like one of your Valves or Lifters are going bad. If thats the case then your check engine light will eventually come on unless it has already came on. I would take it to your dealer. If you havent gone over 100K miles it might be covered under warranty. If you continue to drive it like that you will end up stranded on the side of the road. I hope im wrong and its just a minor problem for you. Good Luck

  5. Where did you find your magna flo?

I use a local exhaust place that has done systems for all the vehicles I've had. I'm sure a local exhaust company in your area has them. I also like the FloMaster but they are louder sounding.

  6. yeah im not to sure. i do know the connector is different and theres been a few "rumors" of the led style ones not fitting on the regular bulb ones but from looking at them (without taking it off and test fitting) they look almost identical in shape so i dont see why they wouldnt fit. back to the wiring. like i said the connector is a bit different but i figure if they are similar i could just splice off the old bulb style connector and wire on the new style connector if the cables are the same. but i would have to see the connecting cables from a led style tail light assembly to be sure.

Yes they look the same to me also as far as fit. Splicing the LED connector would be easy to do as long as the wiring is the same.

  7. I think your wanting to do what I want to do also. I have a 2010 Journey with the regular bulb lights and I want to change the whole rear lights to the round LED style. I think the wiring harness is gonna be different and the voltage to the lights might be different as well but im not positive about this. Im gonna follow this discussion cause if it can be done with out changing anything major then I want to do it too.
