  1. Car looks awesome, hope to get mine looking half as good! Can I ask where you got the hexagonal mesh from? Want that on my 2009 dodge when I paint chrome cross black...

Thank you. Its not a mesh. Its a completely different grill. The grills on the journeys changed in 2011 and they have the honeycomb mesh that your referring to. If you find one its an easy swap and it fits perfect in you 2009.

  2. Hey!

If you replace the speakers with 2 Ohm speakers, like the Infinity ones, you'll get more power out of your car stereo amps. You can check them out here http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vJSwuLvWgvb/shopsearch/infinity_car_speakers.html?awcp=1t2&awcr=40403339963&awdv=c&awkw=infinity%20car%20speakers&awmt=e&awnw=g#?nvpair=FFCategory%7C%5Brank399%5DCar%20Speakers&avf=N , or just go to Crutchfield.com.

Infinity speakers are very high fidelity, having a crossover and separate speakers for high and low.

Yes this is true but some amps cant handle the drop in Ohm Load and Im guessing the stock amp wont be able to handle it. It will work in the beginning but eventually will blow and the magic smoke will come out and you cant put it back in.

  3. Are you sure that the Crown Vic is the ugliest car ever made?

    Yeah these are pretty UUUUUUGGLLYY!!!!!!!!!

Queen Latifa had a nice Crown Vic in the movie Taxie and it had lots of cool gadgets!!!!!!!!

  4. Very nice. It's like accenting the Blacktop lights. Are your rims custom painted, or did you order them like that?

Thank you. Yes I wanted the blacktop lights but I didnt want them exactly the same. My rims are powder coated black but the red stripe is paint. Im gonna be changing the rims in the next couple months. Im gonna go 20". Im torn between 2 different wheels...still deciding which ones to go with.

  5. I'll like to thank you again for suggesting this.....I found something out later on, if you buy the extension and it's not the Grey one like the actual rack, it won't fit...strange how they didn't just make it generic

Here is a pic from today, I like how I can lower the rack to reach the boot (trunk)

If I needed a bike rack thats exactly how I would do it. Easy to load the bikes and easy to get into the back after lowering the rack.

  6. Looks amazing, where did you find the black crosshair grill? Is it difficult to install?

Im not sure if your referring to my Journey but Thank you if you are, I found it here in my local Craigs List. It was very easy for me to install.

  7. I know exactly what you mean, those clips SUCK!! The bad thing is that those clips are all over the Journey and holds lots of things together. I used a small flat head screwdriver to get the center part to come up then I used needle nose pliers to grab the center stick and pull up. Once you pull it all the way up then the whole clip comes out. I broke a few myself. I went to a local body shop and got replacements from them. Im sure you could get some from your local body shop also.

  8. Isnt there a neg terminal in the engine compartment for when you have to jump it?

Yes there is. If you disconnect it I don't believe its a complete disconnect from the whole system like it is direct from the battery. I could be wrong on this though. It would be nice to know this answer for sure on both the positive and negative terminals that are in the engine compartment.

  9. Fols that have replaced the interior LEDs...please confirm that ONLY the CANBUS bulbs will work in the DJ

    Thanks

Only CANBUS LED bulbs worked on my Journey. I tried regular ones first and they didnt work at all.
