Jeff. Does your DJ still have the original tires on it? Tire choice as we all know is key to winter handling and performance.
-
I've changed a tire in a mall parking lot before, people looked & gauked but they always keep walking. They were probally able to do it without so much as a peep out of Christmas shoppers. Disgusting. It takes concerned citizens to stop this kind of tweaker activity.

That's the Emergency personal. If the cars not a write off when they arrive, it is when they leave but...
Thank you to all Emergency Responders! They can be life savers.

Polish it with Rain-x. It helps a bit

Get an Android, problem solved.
Somebody had to :)

I like the "missing" license pkate holder. Wish we could run in Canada without them. Looking good. Is that the bright red or brilliant red? Depending on the pic angle, sometimes mine looks red where in others you can clearly see the pearl coat - bit darker looking.

The bulb is a psx24w bulb made by phillips. They are available on Amazon
I've searched as well and this or dealer are about the only options right now. I remember reading somewhere about a guy who trimmed down the H10 and he was able to make it fit? Not sure if possible or not.
I'm also on the lookout for maybe an LED replacement. I'll update the forum if I find anything.

All these responses and not one Brilliant Red Tri-coat Pearl? I would like to add one

Sounds nice. Enjoy your new 13' DJ. I have to agree, the centre stack and instrument cluster work well for placement and visibility.

Looking good!!!

Cheers guys. Looks like Christmas is best. Sounds right. Already took first steps - went and looked around and dropped my email address to 2 sales. Already been contacted Let the games begin!

This sounds like our 2012 SXT but with lots of extras - 19's too. Ours is closer to an RT than an SXT.For about a grand extra, you get everything on the SXT plus 8.4 radio, leather wheel, power seat, dual climate controls and a few other goodies.
Congrats.

Sounds nice. Enjoy

Very nice looking DJ. Welcome.

Anyone know the lug nut size for the 5 x 127 hubs - what the thread is?
Wanting to put some better quality lug nuts on our DJ and I understand there are different size nuts?
Thanks

Generally, when is the best time of year to visit a dealership to trade up a model year? When is a dealership willing to really bend on the price - December, February?
Situation... Purchased June 2012. We may want to jump into an "on the lot" 2013 in the coming months.
Cheers

Great poll Rolly.
We purchased in June off the lot but I know it didn't sit because the assembly date was May so we got a fresh one No issues at all so far -fingers crossed.
I can certainly see transportation / lot time and weather being a factor in some exterior issues but not sure anyone could prove such???
-
Chris, our DJ SXT has an assembly date of May 2012 and it HAS the larger brakes. We are now at 32000 km and the front pads are at about 60% remaining. No brake issues here.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Lots to read. Good luck with the new addition and enjoy your new Journey.

Hey DCAC,2011sxt,
I did some research and found the Mopar Cold Air Intake for 2011 - 13 DJs (part# 77060080) which is available in Canada.
Mopar identifies the above part as...
2007 - 2009 Dodge Nitro Cold Air Intake CAI 3.7L OEM Mopar 77060080 in Automotive, Parts & Accessories, Car ...
Don't think the part # is correct. Just FYI.
Part #77060048 is the "sorta" correct part - it is for the 3.6l Avenger.
-
Not sure what the 2010 stack looks like but in the 2012 models, the soft touch buttons are hazards, AC, AC flow, front defog, rear defog, traction control. I'm sure you can get the buttons from a wrecker or dealer and wire them up for your LED lighting or anything else.
-
I'm getting 12.5 L/100kms city driving and mine is 3.6L. When I first got it, the worst I got was 14.3 L/100kms.
Almost identical here Rolly. Do you reset with every fill?

hello everyone, I have a 2012 dodge journey sxt and i would like to upgrade the wheels/tires to something a little more rugged and off road looking (trying to make it a little more manly LOL) i have some questions regarding my choices, I know the bolt pattern is 5 x 127 and the stock wheels are 17 but is it possible to go to a 16 inch wheel to get a bigger sidewall tire for that more rugged, off road look?
If you have the $$$, why don't you put some 19's or 20's on with a Goodyear Wrangler or nice big off road tire?
-
Same here Burn. Rogers GS3 - connects and works perfectly with Uconnect - everything but messaging.
Hopefully a Chrysler wide fix will come one day soon. I'm not going to limit my phone selection just for messaging compatibility. Sucks!!!
Merry Christmas to all!
