  1. Yeah there was some issue with bad phasers on the 11s. Doesn't seem to be a reoccuring problem, nor effect 12s
  2. Just the low beams are HID (9006) the fogs are LED, from the link I posted above.
  3. I'm sure its there for noise reduction, but I noticed very little difference, and then only at WOT. Pop off tube first if you want to try it, can always put it bck on if you want.
  4. I took mine out, and also trimmed the necked down area on the inlet pipe, where it used to mount, with a razor blade. Also removed the rubber flap from the hood, that sits in front of inlet pipe.
  5. Yes they all sound that way. Moreso in the FWD platforms
  6. So why don't you move on to something else? All you do is complain about it. Lots of other choices out there.
  7. Is it because of all the ads? Its almost not worth surfing it . Its slow, always have to click back 2 or 3 times,to back out of a page. Doesn't matter what browser I try.
  8. Your sure your not looking at the smaller wheels, and seeing how big the brakes look in them? None of our FWD ones have big brakes, and some just came off the truck.
  9. The Mopar hitch is currently backordered, and they are trying to pass off a cheap aftermarket hitch as OE. Search here for pics, they look awful. I would wait unless you really need it now.
  10. SXT is still way softer than R/T though
  11. Sales!! LOL No!! And as the driving habits go, thats not whats causing these issues. Somewhat poor design, and improper repair is.
  12. the Journey uses Caravan brakes, not Avenger.Avenger is similar to Caliber . At some point when I get a chance I will do a rightup on what some of the brake issues are, and how to overcome some of them. They are not the best design for one, but also, if they are NOT repaired correctly, and most ARE NOT , they they are short lived. There is WAY more to a brake job, than slapping on a set of pads and rotors, but thats what most people do, including repair shops. We have VERY good luck at our dealer with brakes lasting, after they are repaired right.
  13. I don't think its going to accomplish what you want. Your making the springs stiff, yet its still going to have soft struts. This will make it somewhat bouncy over bumps. If you had the stiffer R/T struts, might be ok, but I don't think you'll like it. The R/T is quite a bit tighter as far as handling goes. Stiffer struts and springs, and bigger sway bars. I would go and drive an R/T,and see how you like that....... you'd be better putting your money towards a trade, than maybe spending 12 or 13 hundred bucks on a swap, your probably not going to like. IMO there is a huge difference between how an R/T drives, and how an SXT with 17 rims does. I have seen this many times over the years at the dealer, someone finds out what they bought, isn't what they want/need, and they spend a bunch of cash trying to "upgrade" it, usually with poor results.
  14. Overrated and expensive IMO Mobil 1 on sale is your best bet.
  15. I used the DDM ones, and while they are ok, I think I will go with marimoto(or however you spell it) next time, looks to be better.
  16. Well you didn't tell us the year, so hard to say. There was a flash update for some years, and a bad liftgate latch also have seen do this.

Yeah 300 installed is good, thats prob about half price. As long as its not one of those aftermarket POS they sell that stick way out.
  18. Handles very very nice for its size, I'm impressed. Drives "small" for its size.
  19. Yeah same as mine. Let it get some miles on it to wear in, and I'm sure they'll come out with an update at some point also
  20. 1. the tire size is not hard to find in 19, just go to 235 if your having hard luck finding them. Tire rack can have them to you very quick though for that matter. 2. You only have to change all 4 ,if they are more than about 1/2 worn. Not like blowing tires are a big issue anymore anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.

So you're saying the dealer lied to me? I was told the retail price is $349 and was originally offered it at "cost" for $299. Yeah the cost is not 299........I'll try and remember to check on monday. I think my cost was around 250, and thats not dealer cost
